A woman has been arrested after a man was stabbed to death ‘for a pair of expensive shoes’.
The 20-year-old man was found in a pool of his own blood with stab wounds in the middle of the road in London Colney, a village in Hertfordshire.
He was rushed to hospital after sustaining multiple stab wounds, Ahsanullah Nawazai, 20 was declared dead at the hospital.
Ahsanullah’s neighbours say he was murdered during a row over a pair of shoes he was wearing.
When the young man’s body was found, his shoes had been stolen and he was left barefoot.
Police have confirmed a 30-year-old woman suspected of the murder is in custody.
In a statement, Ahsanullah’s family said:
“He was a happy person, a lovely kid and much-loved member of the family. He always had a smile on his face.”

The arrest follows the death of 20-year-old Ahsanullah Nawazai, who was found seriously injured in Walsingham Way at 7.15pm on November 28. ‘He had suffered a number of stab wounds and was taken to hospital, where he later passed away.
