Unity News Network and its contributors always do our best to ensure that information and facts cited are accurate. However, mistakes do occur, especially in relation to the work that we do. We will correct any inaccuracies brought to our attention at the earliest opportunity and with due prominence.
If facts are stated incorrectly or if the information is incorrectly identified or presented, we welcome and encourage you to bring errors to our attention. Our policy is to acknowledge the mistake in a timely manner, when it is brought to our attention, and to state the facts correctly.
Opinion commentary reflects the opinion of the individual writers. We have recently added an ‘Opinions’ section where we would publish opinion based articles by the Unity News Network or co-contributors.
We respect free speech and we respect all viewpoints, with the exception of hate, racism or discrimination. We will always distinguish clearly between statements of fact, conjecture or opinion.
The Unity News Network will take all reasonable steps to identify and credit the originator of any third party content to help ensure that copyrights are respected. Any failure to credit the originator will be corrected with due prominence at the earliest opportunity when issues are brought to our attention.
We seek to work and engage constructively with those who feel that we have either misrepresented or made blatant errors about them. In doing so we would be prepared to work with you as to what would be the best solution to the problem. This could range from deleting the content from our site and assorted social media platforms and/or publishing a full retraction/apology on our news site and accompanying social media channels. We will not shy away from addressing errors.
We are also open to questions about the decision making and conduct of those who are employed directly by Unity News Network and set high standards for those involved in the organisation.
