Police are hunting a gunman responsible for the shooting on a 19-year-old teenager after he suffered gunshot injuries to his shoulder, face and hand.
An unnamed 19-year-old was shot on Mortlake Road in Ilford at around 11.50pm on Saturday, December 8th. The Metropolitan Police confirmed that the injured man’s condition is “non-life threatening”.
A Met Police statement read:
“Police were called by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) on Saturday, 8 December at around 23:50 hours to report of a man shot in Mortlake Road, Ilford.
Local officers and armed officers attended.
A 19-year-old man was found suffering from gunshot injuries to his hand, shoulder and face.
He was taken by LAS to an east London hospital with non-life threatening and non-life changing injuries. No arrests. Officers from the Trident and Area Crime Command are investigating.”

“A 19-year-old man has been shot suffering gunshot injuries to his face, shoulder and hand. Police including armed officers were called at 11.50pm last night – Saturday 8th December to Mortlake Road in #Ilford. The teenager’s condition is non-life threatening.
The gunman remains at large – Scotland Yard stated that no arrests have been made and that officers from Trident and the Area Crime Command are investigating.”
