A Teenage boy has lost his life after being stabbed in Lewisham south-east London.
The victim who was just 15-years-old was rushed to hospital after being found with serious knife wounds in Bellingham, Lewisham on Thursday night.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services to save the teenager he was pronounced dead shortly after 8.10PM. His next of kin have been informed.
Police and paramedics rushed to the scene in Randlesdown road at about 5.20pm.
Footage from the aftermath of the scene showed forensic police officers working inside a Morely’s chicken shop on the street.
No arrests have yet been made and a crime scene remained in place overnight.
In a statement following the latest incident, The Metropolitan Police said:
At this early stage officers are working to establish the circumstances.
Officers from the Homicide and Major Crime Command have been informed.”
