Three men have been stabbed and a woman has been injured in a fight after falling from a significant height thought to be a balcony.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of the incident near Borough Tube Station in south-east London at around 10am on Sunday morning.
Two of the men that had sustained stab wounds were arrested by Metropolitan police on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH).
A London Air Ambulance landed nearby the scene of the incident to take the mean to hospital, none of the stab wound injuries are thought to be life-threatening.
A Met Police spokesperson said: ‘A woman was found with injuries reportedly sustained from a fall from height. She was treated at the scene by paramedics from London Ambulance Service (LAS) before being taken to hospital.
‘One male was found near to the scene with a stab injury. He was treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital. Two other males, who also had stab injuries, were detained near to the scene on suspicion of GBH.
They have been taken to hospital. A woman was also taken to hospital to be treated for shock.’
A Scotland Yard spokesman later told The Sun Online: “Police were called to Empire Square East, SE1, at 10.12am to reports of a group of people fighting.
“A woman was found with injuries reportedly sustained from a fall from height. She was treated at the scene by paramedics from London Ambulance Service (LAS) before being taken to hospital.
“One male was found near to the scene with a stab injury. He was treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital.
“Two other males, who also had stab injuries, were detained near to the scene on suspicion of GBH. They have been taken to hospital.
“A woman was taken to hospital to be treated for shock. None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.
“A crime scene has been put in place. Enquiries continue.”
