Analysis of Jeremy Corbyn’s Interview with Andrew Neil

Despite UNN actively advocating that the public cancel their TV licences, our Current Affairs correspondent Oliver Down still pays his as part of his bills included rent. This allowed him to watch Jeremy Corbyn’s interview with the best in the business Andrew Neil. The consensus of opinion it was the proverbial car crash for Mr Corbyn. It was described by Spiked Online as “surely rank as one of the worst political performances of modern times.” Over 10 minutes was exclusively attributed to anti-Semitism where Mr Corbyn failed to personally apologise four times. 

Andrew Neil gave the stat that 80% of British Jews felt that Corbyn was anti-Semitic. In response, he appeared irritable and at times bored of the subject. Mr Corbyn then began attempting to deflect the issue by talking about Islamophobia. However, this did not fool many with the well know Twitter account @MoggMentum stating: “Corbyn’s performance is career-ending. All chance of electoral success has now gone. After the public has witnessed that, there’s no way he can get elected. A woeful performance. Unprepared, misinformed, clueless & incoherent. Mr Neil has just ended Corbyn’s career”. Was Mr Corbyn attempting to take the heat of Prince Andrew by wanting to take the title for the worst interview of 2019. 

Corbyn came across as grossly underprepared. The interview then moved on to the WASPI women and their pensions. Corbyn was repeatedly asked to state how he would fund those pensions. His response was ‘They have to be paid for’. He seemingly did not know in the end conceding that borrowing will take place. Subjects then came thick and fast, he fudged on whether he would kill an ISIS leader. His performance on Brexit was not any better. Mr Corbyn is trying to frame the election as an opportunity to save the NHS. Many may have woken up this morning thinking it may be better to save the country and Mr Corbyn from himself.
