World Health Organisation is full of “lefty elitists pushing their agenda of one-world government”

One Nation leader Pauline Hanson says the World Health Organisation is “a waste of money” and is “full of lefty elitists who are pushing their own agenda of a one-world government”.

Her comments come after the US President Donald Trump’s decision to suspend funding to the WHO, accusing the “China-centric” body of “severely mismanaging and covering up the spread of the coronavirus”.

Ms Hanson who has long opposed the World Health Organisation, said since 1996 the WHO had been “full of people abusing it and buying luxury cars and travelling first class around the world”.

“I don’t think anything has changed,” she said.

Ms Hanson said Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison should “save our 66 million and get out it” in reference to Aussie funding of the WHO.

Australian Sky News host Laura Jayes said Donald Trump’s decision to withdraw funds from the WHO was a “wonderful distraction” but “not incorrect”.

She claimed: “The WHO had been a disgrace and was well behind the eight ball during this whole pandemic”.

Back closer to home, HM’s Government has said they will not be cutting funding for the Who however the organisation must “learn lessons” from its failings during the pandemic.

The Prime Minister’s spokesman said Britain wanted the WHO to “continue to learn lessons on how it can improve its response to global health emergencies”, they continued: “Transparent and accurate information is vital for an effective global response.”
