Andy Dawson was a prominent figure espousing hard-left tropes on Twitter. He has appeared numerous times with content in the Guardian and also the Daily Mirror. His twitter account is now deleted but yesterday he launched an expletive ridden assault over the internet.

Rare for a Guardian writer, Dawson’s Linkedin shows a level of self-awareness, professing himself an “idiot”. Curiously, Dawson also claims to be a professional “Social media consultancy and content provider”…
Some have suggested that this could fall foul of malicious communications laws and he has been reported by many to the Police.
