Metropolitan Police have had an extremely busy night again with two fatal stabbings and a shooting attack taking place leaving the victim with life-threatening injuries.
Fatal stabbing in Kensal Green:
Police were called at 14:00hrs on Sunday, 22 November to Harrow Road, Kensal Green to reports of a stabbing.
Officers, London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance attended and found a man, believed to be aged in his 60s, suffering from stab injuries. Despite the efforts of emergency services, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 50-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is in police custody in relation to this stabbing attack.
Detective Chief Inspector Katherine Goodwin, from the Met’s Specialist Crime South team, leading the investigation, said: “I believe this terrible incident may have been witnessed by a number of horrified onlookers.
“I urge anyone who has yet to speak to police to contact us immediately. A man has lost his life in violent circumstances and we are doing everything we can to understand what has happened here.”

Fatal stabbing in Lambeth:
Following from this, Metropolitan Police are investigating a fatal stabbing after they were called at 17:59hrs on Sunday 22 November by the London Ambulance Service to a location in Ramillies Close, Lambeth, SW2.
Officers attended, along with colleagues from the London Air Ambulance, but the man in his twenties, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are trying to trace his next of kin. No arrests have been made at this stage.

Shooting in Hackney:
Detectives have launched an investigation following a shooting in Hackney.
Police were called at 20:52hrs on Sunday, 22 November to Westgate Street E8 following reports of a shooting.
Officers attended with colleagues from the London Ambulance Service and found a woman, believed to be aged in her 30s, suffering from a gunshot injury.
CPR was administered at the scene by officers prior to LAS arrival. She was then transported to an east London hospital; her condition is being treated as life-threatening.
Her next of kin have been informed and no arrests have been made at this stage.
