A man has been charged with murder after police discovered a body in the bath of a house in Birmingham on Sunday (7 February).
Officers were called to Holly Road, Handsworth, at around 9am where they found the body of a man with multiple serious injuries.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and has not been formally identified but is believed to be a man in his 20s.
A man was arrested a few miles away later that morning on train tracks near Wigmore Lane in West Bromwich.
West Midlands Police have confirmed that the Homicide Unit charged David Swaby, from Holly Road, with murder.
The 33-year-old appeared at Birmingham Magistrates yesterday morning (9 February).
A post mortem examination is taking place to understand exactly how the man died.
