In a wide-ranging interview London Mayoral Candidate Laurence Fox also railed against the “constant woke proselytising” of Sadiq Khan, criticising the Mayor’s statues review and support for the Black Lives Matter movement.
He said of Mr Khan: “He is trying to build a city in his own image, not in the image of the occupants of this city, and constant woke proselytising about what he feels London should look at.
“The mayor should be a champion and a celebrant of the capital city. He shouldn’t be sitting there trying to score political points in New Year’s Eve fireworks displays.
“Politics turns on a dime…. But it’s certainly his to lose. London is the cathedral to politically correct wokery. It’s not like I’m standing in a place that is going to be easy to win. But there is a significant constituency of Londoners who think like me. I want to give them a voice.”
A spokeswoman for Sadiq Khan said in response : “Sadiq will not engage with politicians on the extreme far Right.”
@SadiqKhan it is entirely inappropriate for an elected representative to label their opponents as ‘extreme far Right’ without substantiation.
You’re effectively calling @LozzaFox a Nazi. That has consequences.

As you can see above Calvin Robinson who is a friend of Mr Fox calls out the danger of Mayor Khan using this rhetoric which many agree is completely false and inaccurate.
