Following an investigation by the South West Public Protection Unit, police have charged a man in relation to a rape in Richmond.
On Monday, 26 April, Agnelo Cardoso, 33 (03.05.87) of Lampton, Hounslow was charged with one count of rape and remanded in custody.
He is due to appear before Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 27 April.
Police were called on Sunday, 25 April at 15:22hrs to a woman who stated that she had been raped in the car park on Paradise Road.
The woman is currently being supported by specialist officers.
