Brothers in arms, Education Secretary Nadhim Zahawi and Health Secretary Sajid Javid, have penned a joint letter to parents of secondary school and college-age children expressing gratitude for their ongoing Covid-19 vigilance. Of course, it is merely a veiled thanks born of anger at the relatively slow vaccination uptake in under 16s, and designed to forewarn of the educational penalties to be paid this winter by the offspring of stubborn, vaccine resisting parents.
Let us remind ourselves that we live in post-‘Freedom Day’ Great Britain: a kingdom approaching a double-jabbed vaccination rate of 80 per cent of its population aged 12 and over at the time of writing, and whose public health bodies have unilaterally agreed that children do not require vaccination against Covid-19 as they are neither at risk nor drivers of transmission.
This however, does not appear to be deterring Javid and Zahawi from continuing, within the letter, to promulgate the false idea that young people contribute gravely to the spread of the virus, via multiple usage of their maddening ‘stop the spread’ newspeak.
The duo then premonish that ‘there is no substitute for face-to-face learning’: odd, as they appear to enjoy scuppering at every available opportunity what is fast becoming an antediluvian teaching method across the entire educational sector.
Parents then receive the more overt threat that in order for all children, vaccinated or unvaccinated (the letter makes no distinction between the two: vaccinated children having to abide by the testing regime would, after all, be an admission of vaccine inefficacy) to remain in face-to-face learning they should still – even as we enter the twentieth month of this health based hijack of liberty – be encouraging them to ‘test themselves twice a week, and more frequently if they are specifically asked to do so’, and to report and upload the tests online even if they are negative or void. In addition, those who test positive with a Lateral Flow test should then not only isolate but confirm the result with a PCR test. On top of this, those children identified as close contacts by NHS Test and Trace should also take a PCR test and then take daily Lateral Flow tests until they receive the PCR result: crisis engineering par excellence.
As expected, parents are also advised to encourage their children to come forward for vaccination – ‘our best defence against Covid-19’ – in yet another total refusal to acknowledge that this supposedly impenetrable megastructure of an immunisation programme is proving itself time and again to be nothing but an experimental dam springing fresh leaks every day and which will soon explode; allowing the patented virus to flood our lives once more with the justification for enhanced restrictions on behaviour, speech and movement.
The rollout to teenagers is slow not because parents and children are refusing en masse but because of logistical delays, so we are told. But once these are ironed out it will swiftly gather steam, and if it stalls again face-to-face learning will be rationed out amongst the vaccinated until the parents of the unvaccinated become too peeved to bare a moment longer the education of their children from home, online; whence the rollout shall pick up again with grim predictability.
Parents, whilst Javid and Zahawi resolve their inefficiencies you have a window of opportunity to mount one final attempt at a collective push-back against the state’s needle. It is quite literally now or never, and if you choose never the fall of five to eleven year olds shall be assured.
Your decisions affect not only your household, but every single person in the UK regardless of age or health status, and quite frankly you’re beginning to seriously rankle me with your insensitivity, blindness, or indifference; your faith in the narrative or even your cowardice – whichever form of ethical inertia you have chosen.
I appreciate that it is immensely challenging to raise children at the best of times, let alone during a protracted and fake national emergency, but if you cannot muster the energy to overcome your insouciance then by this time next year children of ALL ages shall inevitably have been vaccinated, and thus with no generation left un-jabbed health passports shall become not only universal in application but irreversible, and alongside their normalisation the sweet pleasures of our former lives shall decompose.
At present the old normal is lying in government’s Covid coffin, breathing desperately through a tiny crack. There are but four nails left to smash into the lid before it then asphyxiates and is buried, never to be resurrected: the successful vaccination of 12 to 15 year-olds, five to 11 year-olds, under-fives, and then the acceptance of annual or biannual booster shots by all and sundry. As it stands, it is YOU now holding the hammer.
If you permit your children to be injected with an experimental substance, so that they may be immunised against a disease which prevents no mortal threat to them and which neither are they key transmission drivers of, to ludicrously salvage their needlessly disrupted education, then there shall be no future limit to that which government shall be able to coerce us into doing on their behalf.
In your slothful belief that you are helping create a safer society, or your fear of social reprisals should you withdraw consent, your children shall paradoxically then grow up in a dangerously prohibitive world unrecognisable from the one you so vigorously enjoyed footloose and fancy free in your own adolescence. So ask yourself, who ultimately presents the gravest danger to them: the virus, the state, or you?
I personally have no taste for a life in the rotten world the spiritless among you wish to usher in with your timidity: once installed it shall not soon be relinquished, if ever. Having played Wendy house medics to your impressionable progeny you shall have helped transform Britain into a re-education centre for all, and I shall lay the blame only partially at the feet of propaganda: the rest shall I lay firmly on your feeble, shrugging shoulders.
