The MAYHEM caused by the UK Government’s INSANE policies

By Anthony Webber:

The petition: https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/617939 is aimed at getting the government to end their policies on Ukraine, as they are self- defeating and not in the interests of the British public.

Although lockdowns, over- zealous net zero and some other factors have influenced the rising cost of living crisis and inflation, the key factor since February 2022 has been the UK government’s policies on Ukraine, especially the sanctions against Russia.

The two Conservative leadership contenders, Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak, have both said that the British people should be prepared to suffer in order to support the government’s Ukraine policies, yet at no time has there been any electoral mandate for this crazy proxy war started by the outgoing Prime Minister.

It is undoubtedly true that since February of this year, when the conflict started and when Boris Johnson commenced his policies on the Ukraine situation, that there has been a massive rise in energy, fuel, food and other items, as well as a rise in inflation, interest rates and a pending recession. These rises have primarily been caused by UK government policies, which have taken no notice of the interests of British people when they were implemented.

The government’s answer to the energy prices crisis ( and not all the other issues which need to be addressed) has been to provide some forms of energy subsidies totalling about £15 billion. These are likely to be increased by a further £15 billion, totalling £30 billion, although a package of around £100 billion is more realistic to cover the rising costs .

So the costs of the government’s Ukraine policies has not been just the nearly £5 billion provided to the Ukraine, ( about £2.75 billion of which is arms supplies), not just the cost of housing refugees in the UK (cost to be determined ), but the costs of whatever government support to the nation are ( possibly well over the £100 billion mark ) plus the costs of the foreign aid/arms provided to Ukraine.

All these billions of pounds are taxpayer funded, so the taxpayer, without being asked, is being told what is being spent and it is their money!

With the support funds for the government are providing the nation to help with energy costs, it is the taxpayer paying for money which they may or may not receive ! What is worse is that the further consequences of this huge “bail -out” are that are that other important services to the public which will be cut. No just day to day important services in all areas, but projects like new hospitals and schools being put back.

The Ukraine policies are not just costing the nation dearly in terms of rising energy costs, they are increasing government borrowing and obviously increasing inflation and interest rates.(The government had already overspent approximately £450 billion on their covid-19 policies including lockdowns). The effects of all this on businesses is already immense and will get worse. The further consequence of this is more strikes across a whole range of occupations because people are seeing a drop in real terms of the value of their earnings. The rail and tube strike is linked to funding and the government had cut £4 billion of this, ironically less than the funding they provided to Ukraine ! The government was in a mess prior to their Ukraine policies, but having them was not just a convenient distraction from Boris Johnson’s partygate woes, it was a distraction from the terrible performance of the government.

The government has lost its sense of direction and the British public must stand up and demand their interests are for once put first and foremost ! The problems we have are getting worse , not just because of the rising energy costs, but because of the rising costs of food and other goods, let alone that of fuel for vehicles. The average member of the public simply cannot afford these increased costs, indeed no member of the public should be expected to pay them, because they are all result from policies they were never asked about. The government can reduce fuel tax and reduce VAT on fuel, but that only means there will be more borrowing and/or less services and/or more taxation in other areas .

It is time for the British public to take back control of their own destiny! It is time for better health, education, environmental, social and many other services both nationally and locally, not worse! Yet we are being asked to accept worse, and worse earnings and working conditions ! It is not acceptable !

The petition on the Ukraine is all about taking back control of our taxes and our very way of life. It is a demand that we give our consent to important political policies. In the case of what has happened with Ukraine, it is just another example of over- reach of powers of the government. We had it with the Covid-19 policies including the coercive vaccines programmes, we have had it with over -the- top aspects of net zero, and we are having it with a various freedom restricting Bills being considered by Parliament. We say we have had enough. Government misuse of power ends now!

The government’s Ukraine policies are insane in their own right. Between Russia and the Ukraine, they produce a huge proportion of the world’s fuel,  food and mineral resources. There is no way interference in that region, especially by taking a side and promoting intransigence, hatred and a long conflict, that you are going to achieve anything except ever rising prices. This is why most countries in the world , involving seven 8th’s of the world’s population, are not sanctioning Russia, as they know it is not in their interests. As it is, the world is suffering because of the sanctions imposed by a minority of nations, including one of the worst offenders, the UK government. The situation in Ukraine is not as it is presented to us by the old mainstream media, which is full of daily stories about how awful Russia is supposed to be, which turn out to be untrue or grossly exaggerated just shortly after. There is certainly a lot of corruption and globalist vested interests at work. In fact there is a strong argument that the Ukraine conflict is part of a “great reset” plan t bring about greater control of the peoples of the world by a small select few globalist corporations and individuals.

This petition is worthy of signing and promoting far and wide . It is not just in the interests of British citizens but in the interests of world peace, harmony, stability and prosperity. It is for the good of humanity . The petition is recently launched. On the day Boris Johnson paid his last visit to the Ukraine as the UK’s Prime Minister, he committed yet more millions of our money for weapons for President Zelensky’s government, 1000 people signed the petition, they were so disgusted with his conduct: More weapons to cause mayhem, misery and death affecting those on both sides, paid for by us British citizens although certainly without our permission! The petition is also worth signing because it is being boycotted by the old mainstream media. The government and their allies want no knowledge of or discussion about why this petition is needed.
