IS IT TIME TO SCUPPER THE GOVERNMENT’S UKRAINE FIRST POLICY AND REPLACE IT WITH A UK FIRST ONE ?!
A video just released by Paul Joseph Watson ( who has 1.9 million subscribers ) makes the astonishing claim that shortly after the start of the conflict, that Ukraine and Russia were about to sign a peace agreement, and that Boris Johnson rushed over to see President Zelensky for his first visit to Kiev, and persuaded him not to do so and to fight on instead.
This viewpoint is one which is reflected elsewhere and is in tune with the circumstances at the time.
If Ukraine had gone ahead with the peace deal, then it would have lost far less territory than it has now, and thousands of less forces ( and indeed Russian as well) would not have been killed and injured. On top of that, there would have been far less damage to the infrastructure of Ukraine and it would have been far less costly to rebuild .
To make matters worse, Boris Johnson appeared to make Ukraine a personal crusade, each time he went over to visit it was a convenient distraction from partygate and other problems on the home political front, and each time his excuse was that the Ukraine crisis was more important than those at home.
This ruse did in fact work for some time, with many of his Cabinet colleagues repeating this line, when questioned about the integrity, honesty and standards of their Prime Minister.
The big problems was that each visit Boris Johnson made to Kiev, he came with more, gifts of money and support from the hard pressed British taxpayer.
The fact that he had no mandate to do this and that there were no significant defence agreements with Ukraine, made little difference to his incredibly reckless behaviour.
Ironically, it was Boris Johnson’s actions which encouraged the EU to also take actions against their own interests, and there followed an almost farcical situation where he was boasting about doing more to help Ukraine than other countries. This situation has continued and worsened to the extent that close to £5 billion aid has gone to Ukraine, most of it in arms sales. To give an example of the scale of the money involved, Transport for London and the Railways had their budget cut by a total of £4 billion, so perhaps if that hadn’t happened, there would not have been any transport strikes?
Undoubtedly Boris Johnson has been influenced by his wish to go along with the policies of the USA.
No one doubts that NATO is de facto controlled by America and this was shown to the whole of NATO’s shame when the sell out betrayal of Afghanistan was completed by the “deal” with the Taliban. Boris Johnson did not refuse to go along with this disgraceful surrender of Afghans to the Taliban, nor has he since offered a crumb of support to the anti-Taliban resistance. It now seems that he has been trying to out do the USA on sanctions against Russia, every time he increases them making the UK’s economic position worse.
It now seems blatantly obvious that if Boris Johnson knew how badly British citizens would fare as a result of his Ukraine policies, he did not care.
This line of thought was echoed by a German politician who recently even said that she did not care what her voters thought, she was going to prioritise Ukraine over them.
Unbelievable arrogance but that is the state of the world we live in. These politicians believe that the globalist interests which benefit from the conflict in the Ukraine will always make sure those who serve their interests are looked after.
From Boris Johnson’s point of view, it seems that he will be okay, with opinions being made that he could be made the new NATO Secretary General to heading other globalist bodies, and even him renewing his political career.
The Conservative leadership election contest has been an interesting case to examine. To start with the two contenders were not asked about Ukraine and did not speak about it, and the media companies complied with that deficiency. Then slowly and gradually the subject came into the debates, but never getting to the crux of the matter.
During all this time campaigners for the UK government to end its warmongering and become a neutral peacemaker in Ukraine were using social media to insist the issue was no longer prevented from being debated. Finally, at the final leadership hustings at Wembley arena, hosted by LBC, Ukraine got a proper mention, but it was staggering what it revealed. Both candidates committed to continuing with their government’s Ukraine policies at whatever the cost to the British public for as long as it took to achieve Ukraine victory.
Eventually they both admitted that their policies on Ukraine were causing the energy and cost of living crisis and that it was a price worth paying for “freedom and democracy.”
It was a pity that their attitudes towards prioritising their Ukraine proxy war over the British public came out at the very end of the hustings’ meetings. There is therefore no opportunity to question the candidates further on such attitudes as most Conservatives have already voted for their choice of leader now. Indeed, the old mainstream media, in reporting of this final hustings meeting, conveniently failed to raise the issue, so most of the public will still be unaware of these two potential Prime Minister’s keenness to pursue the Ukraine conflict further to the detriment of the nation’s best interests. They certainly did not mention that Liz Truss said that the first world leader she would see if elected would be President Zelensky!
There really does need to be a debate on these self- defeating Ukraine policies as their consequences for the UK are so serious.
It seems that the government, who used all sorts of censorship and propaganda tools to help them control the minds of the public over the covid crisis, have now continued to use such tools to control what the public think about the Ukraine crisis.
It certainly is bizarre that for months we have only been allowed one point of view on Ukraine.
If you dissent you are some sort of extremist or a Russian apologist !
To stand up for what is in the best interests of your country is somehow wrong, but to support the Ukraine policies, irrespective of how damaging they are, is somehow the right thing to do!
The cost of the Ukraine policies is the £5 billion already mentioned plus the to be confirmed costs of 89,300 Ukrainian refugees which we have actually invited to come here!
It is quite possible that if Boris Johnson, when he first met President Zelensky, had done the right thing and encouraged the signing of the peace deal, that there would no or very few Ukrainian refugees.
Then there is the cost of the energy and cost of living assistance which the government is having to give out of taxpayers money, which so far is £15 billion, but is likely to total up to £100 billion in the next six months ( and that still will not be enough). If it goes on for another year, it will use up another £100-£200 billion of taxpayers money ( which again will not be enough). Many sectors such as public houses and restaurants are asking for financial support. In fact all sectors will be affected and all will ask !All this is not taking into account the rise in inflation, interest , and the call from many occupations for vast pay rises to maintain their pay parity.
Also, this is not taking into account the pressures on businesses, many of which will not survive, on charities and on all sectors of British life. It is a disaster especially when there are likely to be cuts in public services ( at a time when better services are needed ) and less money for projects such as urgently needed new hospitals.
Already the economy had been suffering because of the covid lockdowns and over £400 billion spent ( most of it wasted) and over enthusiasm for zero ten.
To make matters worse both Tory leadership contenders have made promises they cannot deliver without causing even more hardship, so the great ship UK is slowly sinking because of sabotage by its Captains.
While sinking Boris Johnson has decided to sign a £15 billion contract for another dangerous and costly nuclear power station.
This money is hardly going to make energy prices lower!
Meanwhile, Russia exports its gas to China, which in turns sells it on at an inflated profit to the world.
Japan and South Korea have just signed energy deals with Russia.
Most of the world, involving seven eighths of the globe’s population, do not sanction Russia because it is not in their interests to do so!
Nor is it in the UK’s !
Sadly, the UK’s leaders are slow strangling the country to death.

Prolonging this Ukraine war serves no one’s interests except perhaps globalist interests and arms manufacturers.
It is actually inhumane to deliberately perpetuate a war when it is not necessary to do so.
It shows a lack of compassion and concern for your fellow human beings.
To send people needlessly to their deaths is immoral especially when it is based on lies.
To advocate the continuance of a war for principles which do not exist is callous and deceitful.
There is no more “democracy” in Ukraine than in Russia and they both have democratic systems.
There is no more “freedom” in Ukraine than in Russia, and Ukraine does not have a free media, locks up journalists who are in opposition, and does not tolerate any views which argue for peace. They also have compulsory military service up to the ag of 60.
In contrast the UK does not have a free mainstream media on Ukraine issues and has sanctioned a British journalist in Ukraine for not reporting in a UK government complaint way.
We cannot argue for principles which barely exist, because it is hypocritical, but if only they did.
After that, please sign and share the petition to positively change the UK government’s Ukraine policies, as in the link below. It might just persuade the new Prime Minister to see sense, be a pragmatist and a realist and have policies which serve the best interests of the UK, not those of another country. So it is not impossible to change from being a Boris scupper of peace to a Liz or Rishi maker of peace – we need to end the Ukraine First policy and replace it with a UK First policy!
