THE GREAT DECEPTION- PART ONE-LOCKDOWNS
By Anthony Webber:
Many will remember back to 23rd March 2020 and the start of the UK wide lockdowns instigated by the government.
There had been a build of propaganda, much of it actually admitted now, to frighten and cajole the public into believing the whole population’s survival was seriously threatened by the covid-19 pandemic. They were therefore scared into accepting the many lockdown laws and restrictions.
These, instead of easing, steadily became worse. Huge erosions of our freedoms and liberties came about and we ended up living in a nightmare police state type world, where just a small group of politicians and officials made fundamental decisions as to how we were allowed to conduct our lives. We even had mass coercion in many areas, but in particular face mask and covid-19 vaccine mandates. Suddenly the government said what many of us had said from the beginning, that we had to learn to live with this particular pandemic, and most of our lives returned to near the normality we had before.
Throughout this period many of us found that some of our friends and indeed political colleagues had been taken in by the government “messages,” would not accept there was a major threat to our constitutional rights and freedoms, and effectively took the government side, rather than that of what became known as the freedom movement.
Some of these people did eventually come on side, and the numbers increased until it came to the point where the government realised that the game was nearly up and they had to change tack. This was finalised with the then Prime Minister Boris Johnson, setting out plans for living with covid on 21st February 2022.
The staggering truth of this period is that millions of our fellow citizens were taken in by the government and were persuaded to trust them by what was a great deception.
Many argue that this period of increasing control of the whole population was planned, that the pandemic itself was part of this, the attack on traditional values, indeed independent thought and businesses was a key objective, and that it was to bring about a Great Reset of our society.
THE GREAT DECEPTION- PART TWO- UKRAINE/RUSSIA CONFLICT
However, the ending of the lockdown restrictions, did not curtail the objectives of those who sought to have greater control of us.
Immediately a new “threat” to our nation and the world came about.
This was the conflict in Ukraine, which started on February 24th of this year, only three days after the “living with covid” statement.
Virtually immediately, Russia was turned into a pariah state and President Putin into some sort of bogeyman.
It seemed that all the tools of government control of the media, which were used for the covid “threat” suddenly switched to the Russian “threat.”
Hence since then, the old mainstream media have given a one- sided view of the conflict in Ukraine, and only a few small independent and mainly online free media have presented the full facts without bias.
However, as with covid, the government has so far been content with controlling the old mainstream media and have taken the view, as they did during covid, that any free media left can simply be dismissed as either not having enough influence or just a bunch of “conspiracy theorists.”
There is a major difference though, and this time the government has shut down RT News operations in the UK, and that outlet had been allowing some discussion from both sides of the covid-19 agenda as well as the Ukraine conflict.
The government has learned through the success of its propaganda efforts, not just with covid, but also with its relative success in portraying Islamist fundamentalist terrorists in Syria as “rebel freedom fighters, a few years ago.” Those same “white helmets” ( fake Syrian Civil Defence) have now been advising the Ukrainian government on how to invent atrocities to blame on your opponents. This has been a key propaganda element in helping convince the public to have some sympathy for Ukraine.
In the early stages of the Ukraine conflict some in the freedom movement had some sympathy for the plight of Ukrainians, being very influenced by UK government and other propaganda.
This sympathy started to change in on April 9th, when Boris Johnson visited President Zelensky in Kiev, announcing further military and other aid to him.
It has subsequently been reported that Ukraine was about to sign a peace deal with Russia, and that Johnson persuaded them with the aid not to do so.
It was a further step into the proxy war which the government had embarked on, and it was seen as a convenient distraction from the Prime Minister’s problems on the home political front.
People in the freedom movement had become more aware of the complexities of the Ukraine conflict and that there was much more to it than simply blaming Russia for “invading” Ukraine.
There was also irritation with the government becoming involved in this conflict on one side when there was no perceivable British interest for doing so.
Government finances were becoming stretched so to donate substantial sums to Ukraine when such money was sorely needed in the UK, was seen as putting dubious Ukraine interests before those of British citizens.
Since then the vast bulk of the freedom movement have felt that the UK government have put vested interests of globalist individuals and corporations as a priority above those of the UK in their support for Ukraine.
What is happening with government policy is that it is seen as a continuance of the Great Reset agenda, and that the Ukraine conflict is being used to this effect.
A minority of those previously supporting the freedom movement are still supporting the government. They are assisting the government with their curtailment of free speech on this issue.
However, it is hoped that they will, like those who came on board late to the freedom movement with covid, will realise finally that enough is enough, and accept that the government policies on Ukraine and Russia are completely against our national interests.
Sign the Petition to end the UK government’s policies on Ukraine:
Who in their right mind can agree with £7bn plus and rising to Ukraine for arms and aid? That is seven times the amount it was costing us to be in Afghanistan ( £1bn per annum).
And why the refusal to help the anti-Taliban resistance?
Who I their right mind would agree with up to £250 bn in support for domestic and other energy users, which has only been necessitated because of the government’s self- defeating Ukraine and Russian policies. Who in their right mind would borrow so much adding to the extensive national debt built up because of the government’s covid-19 policies ?
Who in their right mind would continue with such policies when they are hurting British citizens and businesses so much ( with government help being totally inadequate ).
Who in their right mind would continue with such policies when they are causing inflation, interest rate rises and recession?
This is not even including the huge rises in food and other essentials, which have been ignored recently because of the focus on energy prices.
There is only one logical answer to this whole economic crisis and that is for the UK to join the majority of the world’s nations who are neutral regarding the Ukraine/Russia conflict.
Such countries are looking after their interests and those of their citizens.
There is a petition to this effect which people are signing, and is over 9,000 signatures already:
https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/617939
The mainstream media are all helping the government by no platforming it, and a key component of a petition being successful is making the public aware of it.
So please help by sharing it extensively!
The “don’t pay” anonymous campaign served the globalist vested interests cause by diverting blame from the government onto to the energy companies on energy prices.
The globalist cause continues to use other methods to avoid the issue of the Ukraine policies being subject to national debate.
One has been the launch of a petition to call for a General Election because of the national economic crisis but avoiding calling for an end to the Ukraine policies.
This petition was launched shortly after our petition but is another attempt to deflect attention from the cause of the economic crisis, as a General Election is going to happen anyway within two years and cannot possibly deal with a single cross-party issue such as the Ukraine/Russian policies. Therefore the petition calls for a referendum as we have a major constitutional crisis whereby the government have de facto taken the UK to war without any mandate from the British people. This necessitates a referendum, as one was necessary on the EU. Hopefully, the government will end their policy before there is a need to have one!
