Liberal & Corbynista commentator Owen Jones has not taken kindly to the visit of President Donald Trump to the UK in June. In a series of social media posts and TV interviews he launched into a furious tirade against the President joining others such as Sadiq Khan in denouncing the visit. Jones appeared on the TV considerably more bloated than before lacking his previously fresh looks where he said:
“Countless presidents didn’t get the honour of a state visit. No one is saying that we should cut off ties with the United States.
But we are saying that if Donald Trump uses the bully pulpit of the US presidency, the most powerful man on the earth, to whip up hatred against Muslims, LGBTQ people, against refugees, against migrants and against women with his track record of misogyny.
Then we will come out in great numbers to say that we oppose his anti-climate change policies, his pro elite policies and it is about Trump-ism.
Let’s be honest, a lot of the things I’m talking about there they are not just American phenomenon they are happening in this country as well. The election of Donald Trump emboldened every racist on the face of the earth.
But we are saying we are fighting back, we are taking to the streets and we are showing there is an alternative to scapegoating these minorities to injustices caused by the powerful.”

On the Facebook event page over 4500 people have already intimated they will attend but on Twitter Owen Jones was taken to task over his lack of responsiveness and empathy towards the slaughter of Christians in Sri Lanka by Islamist Militants. It was highlighted to Jones by many users that he tweeted numerous times about the Christchurch Mosque attack but only once about the horrific events in Sri Lanka.

During the visit of President Trump the mainstream media will continue to push their hard left anti- Trump rhetoric but we will provide you with all the real news that the majority of people may not entirely support President Trump but back his visit as the leader of the UK’s biggest Ally.
