Hancock was the Wizard of Oz – Who is behind the curtain?

By Truth Reporter.

The humiliation of Matt Hancock continues in the mainstream press as I write this article, we are drip-fed the details of his shabby and lurid misdeeds in measured doses to prolong and amplify our antipathy towards him but I am not suggesting for one second that he does not deserve our derision, clearly, he does. Hancock is the sort of inadequate narcissist that had he not had a privileged upbringing would probably have been arrested for joining a proscribed far-right hate group. Sadly for us his journey through the echelons of power brought him into circumstances where he was far more dangerous to society than any underground bully boy movement.

The truth is that people like Hancock are a unique form of the type of person the true elites classify as ‘useful idiots’ – Hancock is clearly not unintelligent, as his academic record shows but more than this is required to produce a true statesman and Hancock falls well short in many other dimensions that someone who reaches high office require.

In essence Hancock was a paper tiger, his power and his influence within government clearly were being channelled from elsewhere, he lacked the charisma or sheer force of will to dominate an argument, he lacked the physical stature and the iron will that many true leaders and statesmen have in spades.

The elites spied a man with infinite ambition but without the apparatus to fulfil that ambition. A man with an ego so vast and pathologically misshapen that he would be easy to inflate like a blimp with the hot air of arrogance to make him seem like some kind of political behemoth when in fact he was simply a flimsy veneer over a large amount of nothing much.

Readers will be aware of the Wizard of Oz, the scary and all-powerful wizard was in fact nothing more than a clever illusion controlled by a man behind a curtain. Hancock is the wizard, he is vapour – his policy balloon has been deflated and now we see his dismal contrition on video he is just another crumpled heap of a man desperately reaching out to his masters with his ‘Build back better’ pleas which in fact are a signal to the elites for them to come to his rescue and give him a cushy job in some think tank.

The wreckage of Hancock’s political and personal life is not really the important thing in this discussion, the issue is that this man was never anything more than an instrument of the elites. His policies and decisions were clearly never truly in the public interest. Hancock’s actions were being directed by others because if we look at the situation dispassionately we can see that Hancock never truly had the backbone to make tough decisions that influence the life and death of millions of people.  Hancock’s snivelling apology video has the exact same demeanour as a party official in some murderous dictatorship that has been deposed and now must answer for his crimes without the power of that regime behind him to keep him upright.

Do not weep for Hancock, he has earned all the current derision being aimed at him but never be fooled into thinking that the elites have not got the next windbag primed and ready to inflate. Never stop trying to look behind the wizard’s curtain and expose the little old man behind it.
