Every Western nation has its minister for accelerating progress towards ‘Net Zero’ carbon emissions. In the UK we have Ed Miliband, who was previously the architect of the radical Climate Change Act 2008, aided and abetted by George Soros. Miliband’s utopia is our dystopia: rural areas despoiled by fields of solar panels and wind turbines, and dehumanising ’15-minute cities’.
A large proportion of society does not believe in a climate emergency, suspecting instead a global power-grab, stealing from the poor to give to the rich. Politicians such as Miliband are merely following orders in pursuit of the ‘Great Reset’, an emerging technocracy with a master class wielding total control of population and resources.
My book Green in Tooth and Claw: the Misanthropic Mission of Climate Alarm’ is not a scientific treatise on meteorology or atmospheric gasses, but a sociological study of power, corruption and lies. Green ideology is traced back to Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution, which led to his cousin Francis Galton founding the eugenics movement. Enthusiasm for eugenics swept through the political, intellectual and cultural establishments in the first half of the twentieth century, and this theme influenced the futuristic vision of Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World.
Eugenics gained notoriety following the policies and practices of the Third Reich. When Julian Huxley was appointed as director of the United Nations’ scientific agency UNESCO, he addressed the inaugural meeting on the need to continue the work under a different name. To paraphrase, Huxley’s message was: ‘eugenics is dead; long live eugenics’. Population control was rebranded as ‘green’.
In my book I refer to 1968 as Anno Domini of the new movement: this was the year of Paul Ehrlich’s Population Bomb, which predicted global famine and the threat of human extinction within two decades. Secondly, the Rockefeller Foundation created a new organisation, the Club of Rome, which would have enormous influence in steering the United Nations from promoting peace to tackling a manmade climate crisis. The Club of Rome’s reports portrayed human beings as a cancerous tumour on Earth.
Climate alarmism has been pushed through idealistic youth. James Delingpole’s book Watermelons (2012) was named on the phenomenon of ecological zealots being green on the surface but Marxist red inside. However, that suggests agency, when in reality most young people who have been through secondary and tertiary education are simply complying. These ‘useful idiots’ , in Lenin’s words, are indoctrinated into the dual imperatives of ‘green’ and ‘woke’ in blissful ignorance of the truth that these are strategies to impoverish, enslave and depopulate.
The psychopaths pulling the strings are not interested in ‘saving the planet’ for the sake of
humanity; they are saving the planet for themselves. Students and graduates, so sure in their progressive ideals of equality, diversity and ‘climate justice’ (whatever that means), are destined to become what World Economic Forum scientific advisor Yuval Noah Hariri described as ‘useless eaters’.
The British government has a Department for Levelling Up, an example of state institutions given political slogans rather than plainly descriptive titles (the Department for Net Zero is another). But the real aim is the opposite – levelling down. Mass immigration from Asia and Africa has harmed the socio-economic prospects of the white working class, and as jobs are increasingly lost to AI and automation, office workers around the average salary level will become poorer too. This is not merely an effect, but the intended outcome of purported Net Zero policies. To create a two-tier society, the middle class will be gutted, leaving a small officer class to manage those below.
Green ideology will be applied to transform human habitat. Rural clearances and concentrating of the populace in high-rise cities is the goal. This may not be achieved as rapidly as in communist China (arguably a laboratory for global technocracy), but the Great Reset is speeding up. .
Older people are being targeted as an obstacle to progress: many of them have property and savings; they are traditionally-minded voters; they are slow converts to the digital world. Extortionate tax and energy bills will force them out of their homes, which will be bought by large investments banks such as BlackRock. Drugs and vaccines will shorten lives, and the current British parliament seems sure to introduce euthanasia.
Meanwhile the apartment blocks rise ever taller in our towns and cities. Immigrants are building homes for immigrants. Demographic replacement is cast as a ‘far-right conspiracy theory’, but it is clearly happening, and was the stated aim of UN migration commissar Peter Sutherland (as enacted by the Global Migration Pact).
Migrants from the Third World are preferred because they are readily collectivised, lacking the individualism of post-Enlightenment civic democracies, and they can be threatened with deportation if they protest. Smart Cities will be the ultimate totalitarian environment, with inescapable surveillance and rigid restriction on movement. The birth rate will plummet, unless there is a need for minions to wage war.
Neofeudalism is our destiny, unless we can awaken enough people to resist and revolt.
