By The Truth Reporter:
First I must apologise for being away for so long, I have been on a bit of a journey over the last 2 years or so and not all of it was pleasant. Suffice to say I am now in a brighter, more stable place than when you last read any of my work.
Talking of stability, this is the main issue I will be dealing with in this article. We are lucky to live in a country that has had the same borders for nearly a millennium. Place and street names derive from long dead people or historic uses of land and ancient customs. We have systems of law and government that still encapsulate ancient arcane procedures because tradition and nostalgia dictate their preservation.
This fact makes us complacent, as a nation we have a very severe case of normalcy bias. We expect things to ‘go back to normal’ more often than not. Even in the extreme case of COVID I think the reason that many people accepted the huge barrage of stupid mandates was that they had the full expectation that this was all temporary and it would all be ok soon enough.
I am proud of the stand that UNN took against the COVID tyranny because early on as a group we saw COVID for what it was, an enormous trojan horse with the purpose of getting people to accept less freedom, less choice, less healthcare, more regulation, more state intrusion and a systematic digital surveillance system of unprecedented complexity and reach.
Now that terrible three years is behind us I would love to tell you that 2024 is a bright sunny upland of hope. Sadly I cannot, and I have some predictions and some advice that maybe you might find instructive.
2024 will in my opinion be the year of reckoning for the disastrous series of policy failures in the collective west. We first saw the west embrace the lunatic COVID narrative and the brutal economic damage brought about by printing fictional money and giving it to people in return for doing nothing. Then as COVID started to fizzle we were implored to join in communal hatred for Russia and all things Russian because plucky Ukraine was under attack. The fact the west had fomented a bitter inter ethnic war inside Ukraine and systematically undermined all attempts at reconciliation was to be ignored and pilloried in the same way as anyone daring to suggest that COVID was a bad cold and not worth wrecking the economy over.
Now as the Russians secure their dominance in Ukraine the war in Gaza still rages and the Biden administration has turned its unique blend of malign insouciance and outright incompetence into yet another policy disaster.
The fact is you just can’t kick away this many struts under any system and expect it to stay standing. The west is drowning in debt, it has engineered an energy crisis in their attempt to stifle the Russian economy with failed economic sanctions. German industry now cannot function as their energy costs have risen so much their production facilities run at a loss. Billions upon billions are promised to Ukraine to perpetuate the slaughter.
The ringmaster of this circus of disaster is Joe Biden, theoretically the leader of the free world, he has managed to turn this moniker into an oxymoron. Journalism is now more of an orthodoxy where those who stray from prescribed narratives are cast out or imprisoned for their errant views. From behind his lectern the grinning president spouts a paltry mixture of platitudes , spin and gibberish.
Where is the statecraft Joe? All Mr Biden can do these days is bleat out weak tacit threats about things he will do if people don’t do what he wants. Thing is Joe, you’re not the big scary power you thought you were. You have weakened your nation through rampant money creation, economic fluctuations thought impossible by conventional economists now become daily events.
Biden and his ilk have also weakened the entire concept of America. Whatever your stance on Donald Trump (I am a Trump agnostic) trying to destroy the man via lawfare and abuse of due process is the methodology of a banana republic – a state which America will soon become in all modalities.
Biden does not have the right to preside over a system which persecutes Trump for the crime of being able to string a sentence together because Mr Biden has lost this skill and now has to be guided step by step and word by word through every public appearance he makes.
Herein lies the danger. Biden, his cabal and all those who feed off their many nipples have a lust for power and control so craven and insatiable that they will do literally anything to secure its continuation. More dangerous than this, they think that they not only have an innate right to that power and control but that inherently it is just and proper because it’s them – and not those horrid ‘others’.
I have often pondered on ‘Trump derangement syndrome’ – overall it seems to me that those in the power elite simply cannot tolerate anyone who isn’t ‘them’. I think any self made man who had the money, wit and tenacity to get elected president would be similarly hated simply because he had the money, wit and tenacity to get elected in the face of a system rigged against the outsider and biased toward the establishment. Again here is the danger – the system is only venerated and adhered to when it is working for those who created it. Anyone who comes in and starts pulling the levers is quickly ejected if they are not ‘one of us’.
We live in dangerous times, we see due process being reinterpreted to suit those who want their own way. Remember the US election is due to take place on November the 5th 2024 – my belief is that the underhandedness and chicanery has only just begun, I believe that these people are so utterly deranged by the possibility that they will be displaced that they will happily start a major war to derail the campaigning – absolutely nothing is off the table.
Think back to my first paragraphs, we live in a system that has plodded along a stable course for a long time, so long in fact that we don’t see other paths. Compare this with places in eastern Europe who have had their names, languages, political systems and currencies changed by fiat several times in the last century. The people there are resilient because they take less for granted and can cope without the thick comfortable mattress of the state. The state for these people is something that is transient, fragile and often cynical, we regard it like an immovable obelisk of stability and protection.
Nothing is forever – remember a state is a state only because of the common belief and purpose of the majority within it. Things are changing – be aware.
