Believers in Truth, Freedom and Justice must stand in this Election!

Let July 4^th be the UK’s “Independence Day!”

This Election was decided on by current Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

The system is such that he has the power to do this, if he has no Opposition party contesting it.

In theory the constitutional Monarch had the power to refuse to agree to the dissolution of Parliament and to insist there was no General Election until the latest possible date, which was January 25^th 2025.

In theory the King should have been given good reasons for this early election.

Such good reason would be the Prime Minister stating that he could not continue in government as confidence had been lost in it, but it appears no such reason was given. The King could have insisted on the appointment of another Prime Minister and a new Ministerial team, but this did not happen.

Why did the Prime Minister call for a General Election then?

There are several reasons, all or some or none of which could be true:

Firstly, it is likely that if he had not called a General Election, that a vote of No Confidence would have been held by his Party’s No 22 Committee, and he would have lost. He would have been replaced by another Conservative MP, who still would have had about 7 months to improve the party’s standing with the voting public.

Secondly, there was growing concern about the perceived growing threat of the Reform UK party, who could take valuable Conservative party votes and thus lose them seats.

Thirdly, there was also concern about the Workers Party of Great Britain taking seats. Although they were seen as more a threat to Labour votes, there was increasing evidence that they were appealing to Conservative voters too.

It actually suited both Conservative and Labour parties to have the General Election early, in the hope that the threat from these new parties could be nipped in the bud, before they became too strong.

Fourthly, the government has been incredibly dishonest with the public about the truth of the involvement in the Ukraine/Russia conflict.

The worst piece of dishonesty has been the lie that the energy and cost of living crisis has been caused by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

The truth is that Russia has always been happy to trade with the UK, and that it is the UK government who have sanctioned trade with Russia. It is solely the UK government’s fault that energy and other living cost have shot up so much since they embargoed trade with Russia.

If the government changed back to pre-February 24th 2022 trading conditions with Russia, the huge price rises would start to be reversed. Noticeably the mainstream media, which is government and globalist influenced, has not called out the Prime Minister and his Cabinet on this great betrayal of the interests of the British people.

They have not been challenged on this by the Official Opposition, the Labour party or indeed the other Westminster parties.

It is a tragedy for democracy that we have a government and Parliament who are not only letting down the economic interests of the British public, they are grossly misleading the public.

It therefore matters little if there is a change of government as the policies on Ukraine and Russia will continue. Those policies are also draining our taxpayer’s money with at least £15bn spent on obscene warmongering so far, which has resulted in over 500,000 Ukrainian casualties.

This warmongering has also been going on with regard to the Israel/Palestine conflict, with the UK government again taking sides, and again supported by the Labour party.

This is what is happening now, but there has already been a covid spend of over £400bn, £30bn of Net Zero spend and much more.

We have a “uni-party” system of gross mismanagement of our hard-earned taxes , a major failing of our services to the public, including the NHS, and engagement in proxy wars which are of no strategic interest to us.

This General Election will simply put a different management team in to run the UK with broadly similar policies on the major issues.

They might even take us down the road or world war and catastrophe, which is why we have to take it seriously.

 

What can be done about it?

There may not be another General Election for five years, so it is important to consider standing or helping someone who is.

Our fundamental freedoms and liberties are at stake.

There are a small number of Freedom parties, like the Freedom Alliance party, ( https://freedomalliance.co.uk/, who are seeking candidates.

There are the Workers Party of Great Britain

( who like the Freedom Alliance,do not support the foreign wars on behalf of globalist vested interests),who are fielding a large number of candidates, and some candidates in the Reform Party UK, who can be considered to vote for.

There are also Independents, such as Andrew Bridgen, who has done such sterling work as an MP over the last couple of years especially.

It is important that anyone who is capable of being an honest hard-working MP seriously considers standing to be one. If other options are not viable, then it is very feasible to stand as an Independent.

All that is needed for a basic campaign is a £500 deposit ( returnable if over 5% votes are obtained) and the money to pay for at least 50,000 election leaflets ( manifestos), about £800-£2500 depending where they are printed and their quality.

The Royal Mail do a Freepost to households, and this obviously involves co-ordinating with their elections team. It is also important to liaise with the relevant local authority and obtain the election nomination paperwork which requires the signatures of 12 electors. The final deadline for nominations to be received by the relevant Returning Officer is 4pm on Friday 7^th June 2024, but these matters cannot be left to the last minute.

There are a few people, including myself, who would consider standing, if the funding was there for the costs.
