Are you looking forward to 21 June when we will be granted the right to associate freely and not socially distanced without face masks? Not everyone is, according to Ipsos MORI, so let us hope the irrational tail is not allowed to wag the rational dog. And, as I have predicted in these columns, we probably are being softened up for further restrictions to our movement. The Indian variant—a mainstay of the most recent COVID-19 psyops—is now being used as an excuse for the government ‘advising against’ all but essential travel to many places in England, mainly in the Black Country (apparently unknown to the people who live there). Even if this remains at the advisory level it comes out at the same time as the government confirm that being fully vaccinated with a COVID-19 vaccine will not end self-isolating for ten days if you come into contact with a person testing positive for the coronavirus. I cannot be alone in wondering what the point was in the ‘successful’ vaccine rollout.
Using the description ‘successful’ in relation to the vaccine rollout is another example of government psyops and doublespeak. We are expected to believe it was successful because we are continually being told it is. But how can it possibly be described as successful if it has not achieved its goals? We are not yet free to roam at home or abroad and we are not, evidently, protected if we are exposed to a person who may be infected. This is like asking a football manager if his team had been successful in a game and he answers yes, because all his team turned up, but they were beaten ten goals to nil. In a typically Orwellian tactic, news is alternately released that the vaccines are ninety percent effective one day then much less so the next. Hope, concomitantly, is raised then dashed. The public are being maintained in a constant state of confusion and confusion breeds fear. It is impossible to know how effective the vaccines are because they have not been fully tested. That can only be achieved when one large group of people with the vaccine is compared with a large group of people without the vaccine. But such Phase III testing is still underway. We are attempting to run safety testing, or Phase IV testing, simultaneously. The COVID-19 human challenge trials are also underway and have not yet reported. These will test the extent to which the vaccines protect people who are vaccinated and deliberately exposed to the coronavirus against people who are exposed and not vaccinated. In the absence of solid evidence, I suggest the government, the scientists and the mainstream media shut up until they have some.
Furthermore, the continual bleating about the Indian variant by our government, especially by Matt Hancock MP our Secretary of State, allegedly, for Health and Social Care, in addition to terrifying some people back to the comfort of their own conservatories, has also persuaded the Austrian government into banning direct flights from the UK and now France is going to keep us out. The continual catastrophising of our situation in the UK is helping nobody. David Clews, Lead Correspondent at Unity News Network, asked me on Unity News of 24 May if I thought the Coronavirus Act would be extended and I could only answer in the affirmative. Since I started writing about the lockdown in April 2020 I have been concerned that there was no way out of this and I hate to say that I think I was right. Many of the things that I considered endangered at the outset to the lockdown process: education; religion; and the law, are not fully functioning 14 months on. Masks may have been abandoned in schools, but my grandchildren are having painful nasal swabbing several times weekly and one is at home again, missing his education and his pals, self-isolating for no apparent reason. This is absolutely nothing like normal life.
