Bring home your own bacon -Don’t blame Brexit!

By The Truth Reporter:

You will hear a great deal of talk over the coming weeks about the shops being empty ‘cos muh Brexit’. Readers will probably already be sceptical about the reasons for empty shelves and closed petrol forecourts but this article is dedicated to showing that Brexit is simply not a factor in this game any more.

I have given the opinion many times in these columns  and live on UNN that you cannot simply shut down large economies for months and months and then expect everything to just start up again like a digital watch with a fresh battery.

Modern economies are complex, multi-faceted and interconnected by a myriad of transactions and trades – it’s a three dimensional spider web of connections and co-dependencies, all driving the economy and ultimately being responsible for the goods or services you buy. What we are seeing now is the delayed result of a wholesale destruction of productivity through lockdowns, furlough schemes, stimulus payments, money printing and distortions of free markets.

It mystifies me how on earth any economist could imagine that shutting down whole sectors of the economy and paying people to do nothing would do anything other than destroy productivity.  During the Blitz did we all retreat into bunkers for the entire time? No we did not. We carried on as best we could – people walking to work picking their way through the rubble of bombed streets – getting on with their jobs as best they could. Compare for a moment the dangers of being bombed with the dangers of catching Covid and you’ll agree I am sure that having bombs dropped on you is far more risky.

So despite the mainstream media’s cries of ‘Brexit’ do not be fooled, these are merely the effects of the Covid19 measures playing out – as I predicted they would. The coming winter is not going to be fun and as I always stress in my work – prepare.

I have a theory – and it is merely a theory that elites such as Klaus Schwab and others knew that all they had to do was knock over a few dominoes and that the rest of the structure would topple easily as it is largely built on fictitious printed money. We see central banks and governments printing money on an unprecedented scale and the economic imbalances we observe are getting more and more problematic as this debacle plays out.

The HGV driver shortage is a good example of a microeconomics of the COVID crisis, demand destruction for many goods during the lockdown and people not using their vehicles destroyed demand for fuel – this demand returned only slowly and the industry was unprepared for any sudden shock.  It took only one news leak of a relatively small supply issue to bring the fragile house of cards down. This situation was not helped by the fact that HGV driver tests are difficult to come by and DVLA have massive backlogs, again all due to the Covid measures.

There will be other issues that will emerge and they will be just as severe as the fuel crisis and again you can rely on our friends in the mainstream media to blow them out of proportion and fuel the fear and panic. One has to wonder what these sadistic propagandists (because that is what they are) seek to gain from this except that they curry favour with the elites who are seeking to destroy society so they can reshape it in their new paradigm.

I will finish this piece by exploding one ridiculous headline I saw this morning which read ‘Pigs in blankets under threat’ which claimed that supplies of the popular sausage wrapped in bacon accompaniment to Xmas lunch is going to be in short supply.  How many people are not capable of wrapping a rasher of streaky bacon around a sausage? And herein lies the problem, when people stop thinking, doing and making do they become helpless and subject to the power of the media – and you would be surprised how many people are simply caught in this web of dependency – do not become one of them.
