A snap poll conducted by YouGov has stated that a combined total of 61 per cent of Brits think that Donald Trump will be returned to office in November and will win this year’s presidential election. The YouGov poll found that 52 per of those surveyed think that Mr Trump will “probably” be re-elected nine per cent thought he “definitely will be”. This can be contrasted from just a combined 18 per cent that do not think that President Trump will be returned to the White House, 21 per cent responded, “don’t know”.
A victory for President Trump would be seen by many as a win for the United Kingdom. Mr Trump has stated on many occasions that as a part of Britain’s newly found free country status he is looking forward to thrashing out a wide-ranging free trade deal. Mr Brexit Nigel Farage, a good friend of the President has said that “there should be great things ahead for our two countries”.

Less than three months ago, the Conservative Party romped to General election victory. Mr Farage has remarked on how when the UK goes in one direction, it can be a sign of things to come in the United States. Mr Farage said, “The referendum vote was a very good omen for him in 2016, and I would have thought it was quite a good omen for him in 2020”.
Given the news overnight that following ‘super Tuesday’ Joe Biden is likely to be the Democrat candidate, there has been much comment on the effect this may have for Mr Trump. One Twitter user @HKrassenstein said “Michael Bloomberg is out of the race for President. The perfect scenario for Democrats is now a Joe Biden / Elizabeth Warren ticket with Bloomberg’s money behind them. It would be Trump’s worst nightmare! Who agrees? #WednesdayWisdom”. In contrast to this Paul Joseph Watson said: “Trump is absolutely going to decimate Biden in the debates since Biden can barely even talk at this point. It will be the equivalent of Tyson Fury fighting a literal midget” .
