Disgraced Professor Neil Ferguson calls for 3rd Lockdown even tougher than 1st one!

A third national lockdown may have to be stricter than the second, controversial Imperial College London epidemiologist Professor Neil Ferguson said.

“The concern I have right now is that … (in) the East of England, for instance, case numbers were rising during the last lockdown, so there may be a need for additional controls beyond even what were in place then,” he told BBC Radio 4’s World At One programme on Friday.

Prof Ferguson sat on the government’s Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies until May, and his modelling led the UK government to U-turn on its initial “herd immunity” strategy and to move into Chinese style lockdowns after a barrage of CCP propaganda.
Ferguson has been slammed for his outlandish predictions such as that of 500,000 Covid deaths and being completely wrong on the revious Swine flu pandemic. He also famously broke quarantine rules to visit his lover.

His comments came as the prime minister, Boris Johnson, failed to rule out the prospect of a third national lockdown, signalling that one might be needed after Christmas after the rate of infections increased “very much” in the last few weeks.

“Obviously, we’re hoping very much that we’ll be able to avoid anything like that but the reality is that the rates of infection have increased very much in the last few weeks,” Johnson told reporters during a visit to Greater Manchester.

Dr Hans Kluge, the World Health Organisation’s regional director for Europe has said people should stay at home for Christmas:

“There remains a difference between what you are being permitted to do by your authorities and what you should do. The safest thing to do right now is to remain at home.”
