I am not a strong adherent to the outer fringes of the anti-vaccine conspiracy theories. Talk of the injection of 5G tracking devices and plans to commit mass genocide just do not seem credible. The first is scientifically implausible. On the latter, these are early days. Although the vaccines—especially the Oxford Astrazeneca COVID-19 vaccine—do cause deaths (983 in UK to date with nearly 500 attributed to the other vaccines), I cannot see how mass genocide benefits anyone. However, I may yet be proved wrong, provided I live long enough after my two doses of the Oxford Astrazeneca COVID-19 vaccine to be proved wrong. That said, with the blatant lies that have been told to the UK population over vaccines (for example: no intention of vaccinating children; no intention of introducing vaccine passports; and no intention of using vaccine passports within the borders of the UK) I am not surprised that people see conspiracies and draw the conclusion that we are in the grip of a global movement to track and trace us by some means, for ever.
But we do not need conspiracy theories to explain this. The public health lobby are vocal enough and generally fanatical about vaccines, even when the evidence of effectiveness remains unproven. This seems to be the case regarding influenza vaccines, yet witness the pressure to take these and the proposed plan for a mass ‘flu vaccination this winter. After a veritable damp squib of a ‘Freedom Day’, our mop-headed apology for a Prime Minister announced that, having allowed night clubs to open, the first official use of vaccine passports has been mandated for entry to them from September. Wait for further rollout of the vaccine passport, including to sporting events, which Boris Johnson will not rule out. It would not surprise me—as already hinted—if pubs, restaurants and public transport were added to the list. The public health lobby is on a roll and Boris lacks the knowledge and the testicles to stand up to it.
The supreme irony is that the vaccines may not work. If the vaccines are so effective, then why, for example, must the fully vaccinated quarantine on return from France? They certainly do not seem to work as well as we are told. It was claimed that COVID-19 vaccines are more than 90% effective meaning that ten in a hundred vaccinated people will still contract the coronavirus. But this is not true and the most recent figures from the UK government show that this only applies to two doses of the Pfizer vaccine which is claimed to be 89% effective in the over 65s. Effectiveness in the over 65s for the Oxford Astrazeneca vaccine is only 80% and lower in people who are immune system compromised.
Therefore, the risk of contracting COVID-19 with any vaccine in any age group is reduced but not completely eradicated as evidenced by ‘double-jabbed’ Health Secretary Sajid Javid who contracted the virus. This is hardly surprising as no medical procedures are 100% effective. It is probably reasonable to say that vaccines have weakened the link between COVID-19 infection and death. But it is also claimed that they have broken the link between COVID-19 infections and hospitalisation. This is a less reasonable claim. The mainstream media happily pushed the line for a while that the COVID-19 cases being hospitalised earlier this year were the unvaccinated, especially with respect to the Indian variant. These data may have been accurate at the time. But there are more recent reports of increased COVID-19 infections among the double vaccinated which are not making the headlines. Sir Patrick Vallance corrected a statement saying 60% of COVID-19 hospital admissions were among the vaccinated saying that he meant to say this referred to the unvaccinated. What he forgot to emphasise is that this still means 40% of the admissions were among the vaccinated. Given that the cases admitted to hospital will be the worst cases and probably only the tip of the infected iceberg, this seems a lot less than 90% or even 80% effective. I am not at liberty to name the hospital, but I am reliably informed that one intensive care unit in the Yorkshire and the Humber NHS area is full of fully vaccinated (as opposed to unvaccinated) COVID-19 cases and that the rest of the hospital is filling up. You could say that the hospital is in danger of being ‘overwhelmed’ but to date I have not seen any reports to this effect in the mainstream media. They were quick to focus on the hospitals that were overwhelmed last year, ignoring the ones that were not. The completely unused Nightingale pop-ups were likewise ignored. Presumably news about the double vaccinated becoming infected with the coronavirus is contrary to the UK government COVID-19 narrative and the mainstream media gladly comply by not reporting it.
Further evidence that there is trouble at the vaccine mill comes from no less a source than the C-19 Symptom Study which showed how COVID-19 infections are rising in the vaccinated and, at one point, overtook infections among the unvaccinated. Will Jones of The Daily Sceptic (formerly the Lockdown Sceptics Newsletter) explains how the graph displaying the data disappeared from the website and how he was less than convinced with the explanation. I can only speculate but my guess is that there may have been some pressure from the UK government to do this. Aided and abetted by the mainstream media which continues to whip up COVID-19 panic, the government narrative of vaccine effectiveness continues with pressure to ‘get the jab’ and to use the vaccine passport. If there is a conspiracy, then the conspirators severely underestimate the intelligence and the patience of the UK population. Something they may find out to their cost if they persist with the imposition of vaccine passports.
