This Sunday night will mark UNN’s SIXTH anniversary and it is fair to say that during this time there have been a few ‘upheavals’.
Now when we first started UNN it was a far more innocent time, we were supporting Brexit, we thought Donald Trump was going to ‘drain the swamp’ and we would finally ‘take back control’. Perhaps I am just bitter because I had so much hope that things were going to get better. Instead the situation has deteriorated rapidly and is spiralling dangerously out of control.
One of the things I liked about Trump was that he was supposedly against ‘globalist wars’ and during his presidency there were no major conflicts. However a great deal has now changed in the last 4 years and sadly I think it is only going to get worse.
The US Senate has just approved a $95bn (£76bn) foreign aid package that includes military support for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan. Now for months the Republicans said under ZERO circumstances would they support any foreign aid unless the US Southern Border was secured. David Cameron recently went to visit Trump and said that it was essential aid was sent to Ukraine otherwise it would fall to Putin. Trump is also completely controlled by the Israel lobby and the only way Israel could get aid was if it also went to Ukraine. He therefore gave his blessing for this aid to be sent all the while the US Southern Border remains unguarded with millions of migrants flooding in.
Now over the years it has been a rollercoaster for UNN and we lost many supporters when we came out against lockdowns and also the UK’s support for the needless war in Ukraine. We have lost support as well for daring to expose the clear hypocrisy when it comes to Trump. It is a bitter pill to swallow but the facts show he is a puppet like the rest of them. Now I still here the phrases ‘he is doing this to expose them’ etc but will a war with Iran/China/Russia be part of the plan?
It is clear for everyone to see that they want a war and will keep pushing for one. In my opinion if you are not completely opposed to this and all foreign aid then you are part of the problem. I am afraid I don’t have a simple solution to this problem and anyone selling you one is also trying to pull the wool over your eyes. Alas UNN will continue for at least another year but I am very fearful of the future.
