Donald Trump says Meghan Markle ‘NASTY’ over comments she made

Donald Trump has stated that comments made by the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, about him were “nasty”.  Markle has been a vocal critic of the Republican party leader and backed his rival Hillary Clinton and suggested before the 2016 election she would leave the US if he won.

In an interview with The Sun prior to the visit President Trump stated he was not aware of the negative comments made by the duchess about him, and said: “I didn’t know that. What can I say?  I didn’t know that she was nasty.”

When asked about the duchess suggesting she would leave America for Canada if he was elected President Trump said: “A lot of people are moving here (to the US).”
The US president begins his state visit to the UK on Monday and will meet members of the royal family, including the Queen, but new mother Meghan will not be present.
When President Obama came the younger Royals were extremely friendly with him with William and Harry embracing them whereas they did not even meet President Trump on his last visit with questions being asked about their political impartiality.
Meanwhile in the same interview President Trump has said Boris Johnson would be an “excellent” choice for the Conservative Party leadership. He said: “I think Boris would do a very good job.”
The US president said other leadership contenders had sought his endorsement saying: “I could help anybody.”
