An accuser of Jeffrey Epstein has attempted to unmask his alleged accomplices and was rejected in an appeals court decision on Tuesday the 14th of April. Courtney Wild who is 32 claims that Mr Epstein began abusing her when she was just 14. Ms Wild was attempting to resurrect her 2008 lawsuit which was seeking to throw out a non-prosecution agreement which was protecting Epstein’s alleged co-conspirators from criminal charges.
The Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals rejected Ms Wild’s bid in a split decision, and did acknowledge that the decision leaves Epstein’s victims “emptyhanded”. The majority decision read: “Despite our sympathy for Ms. Wild and others like her, who suffered unspeakable horror at Epstein’s hands, only to be left in the dark—and, so it seems, affirmatively misled—by government lawyers, we find ourselves constrained to deny her petition,” one of the three judges disagreed with the ruling and sided with Wild.

Ms Wild filed suit originally as a result of the 66-year-old multi-millionaire being given a secret sweetheart plea deal without his victims knowing or having a say. The agreement, which was done with the then Southern District of Florida US Attorney Alexander Acosta also included a non-prosecution agreement for Epstein’s alleged accomplices, which victims didn’t find out about until after the deal was done.
Ms Wild released a prepared statement following the conclusion of Tuesday’s proceedings and said “This is impossible to understand — the government intentionally misled the victims but found a way to get away with it by working with a child molester to get around the law, and the Judges ruled in their favor. How?” However, Wild’s lawyer Paul Cassell has said they plan to ask the full Eleventh Circuit to review the decision especially in light of the one judge who sided with Wild.
