Many people on social media responded angrily at these comments by Mr Farage with even many new supporters of his saying that they are completely unnecessary although some agree it is required for The Brexit Party to move forward:
Mr Farage continues to receive criticism for describing marchers at a UKIP rally as ‘tattoed drunken thugs’ when of course that was not the case. The overwhelming consensus amongst Brexit supporters of all shades is that they want to see more of a willingness to co-operate and work together and for the smears to stop on ALL sides.
