In unfolding developments the Conservative MP and Attorney General has decided that Tommy Robinson WILL be tried again.
The contempt of court case was referred to the Attorney late last year, by Nicholas Hilliard QC, the Recorder of London. Many thought this would have seen the end of the case.
Today however Attorney General, Geoffrey Cox said:
After carefully considering the details of this case, I have concluded there are strong grounds to bring fresh contempt of court proceedings against Stephen Yaxley-Lennon (AKA Tommy Robinson). As proceedings are now under way, it would not be appropriate to comment further and I remind everyone that it is an offence to comment on live court cases.”
This comes after YouTube confirmed they will not be removing his YouTube Channel despite political pressure from Tom Watson, Deputy Labour Leader, and many more. YouTube intimated he has not violated their terms of service which operates a 3 strike policy and he has not received any strikes.
They have however prohibited adverts on his channel owing to what they say is the controversial content that he produces on his Channel.
