Joan Collins slams ‘snowflakes’ criticising Sir Winston Churchill

Dame Joan Collins has slammed “snowflakes” and cancel culture in the process of calling out those who are criticising former Prime Minister Winston Churchill.

Dame Joan made her views very clear on “easily-offended snowflakes”, admitting she comes down firmly on the ‘anti’ side of the woke wars.

The Dynasty actress also blasted cancel culture as “sick”, following the disavowing of Winston Churchill last year.

In a new interview, she admitted if it hadn’t been for the former Prime Minister, the UK would be run by the Nazis.

“[I] hate the way they are disavowing Churchill, who saved us, saved us from the Nazis,” she said.

“I was too young at the time to realise, but they were on our doorstep.”

Dame Joan said: “If it hadn’t been for Churchill, we would all be walking around with swastikas!”

“He’s more interesting than any of them,” she shrugged as she spoke to the Daily Star.

“People can’t say what they think, because they’ll get cancelled.”

Joan added: “Dredging up tweets from 15 years ago about what somebody might have said when they were 14… I think that’s sick.”
