Joe Biden REVEALS Theresa May SLAMMED President Trump and PLEADED with him for reassurance

Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden has claimed Theresa May phoned him to voice concerns over Donald Trump’s leadership. This is deeply embarrassing for Theresa May who has tried to forge a close relationship with the Republican president.

Controversial Biden, who is leading opinion polls for the 2020 Democratic nomination, revealed the alleged phone call with Theresa May who he initially confused with Margaret Thatcher during a fundraiser.

“Margaret Thatcher, um, excuse me, Margaret Thatcher — Freudian slip,” Mr Biden said to laughter from top donors to his campaign, according to a campaign pool report. “But I knew her too.” He then went on to say “The prime minister of Great Britain Theresa May.” He then elaborated on how she had said she was concerned about the direction Donald Trump was taking the USA.

Biden said “at least 14 world leaders” had called him during Trump’s presidency including May, who reached out to him by directly seeking reassurances that the US and the UK “still have a special relationship”.

Biden’s claim comes just weeks before Mr Trump is due to meet Ms May during a state visit to the UK. During Mr Trump’s visit a full state banquet will be held and Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has not been invited after it was though he would use the publicity to decline the invite. Owen Jones is also organising a series of demos and Unity News will bring you all the best coverage of President Trump’s visit.
