Michael Gove slammed as a hypocrite after claiming those who refused vaccines are selfish

Cabinet Office Minister Michael Gove claimed people who turn down Covid vaccination are “selfish” and put others’ lives at risk.

His comments have been met with widespread condemnation on social media with many accusing Mr Gove of being a hypocrite and coercing people into taking the vaccination.

@MarkBoingWalker on Twitter wrote in response to MR Gove’s comments saying: “Selfishness is not living as one wishes to live. It is asking others to live as one wishes to live…”

The leader of the Reform Party Richard Tice slammed Mr Gove saying: “SELFISH @michaelgove, is coercing & blackmailing young who don’t suffer from virus to take it to attend lectures, nightclubs, festivals. Young have suffered most in this crisis, been ripped off at Uni with no compensation for online learning.

“SELFISH HYPOCRISY @michaelgove, is not having to self isolate after Champions League final in Portugal, by creating your own pilot test scheme for you & your son, that the rest of us could not join.”

The Reclaim Party Twitted this: “We wonder if Gove would also consider it ‘selfish’ to circumvent your own isolation rules with a dodgy ‘pilot scheme’ so you can go and get pissed at the Champions League final in Porto. It’s one rule for them and another for us.”

Another Twitter user @Orwell_Horizon had strong words, he wrote in responce: “My view, a dangerous and divisive man. An apparent cokehead who appears oblivious to the science. A career politician who wants to revisit the politics and the policies of 1930s Germany while delivering against the WEF objectives.”
