Opinion: Voting for the Conservatives will lead to Brexit in name only

Following our historic vote to leave the European Union on 23rd June 2016, we Brexiteers have undergone every possible emotion ranging from absolute joy to total despair.   We have witnessed a level of deceit from our Parliamentarians that we would never have imagined possible.
The decision we made was to leave a foreign political institution – choosing to return Sovereignty to our own Parliament.
How disgraceful that when Parliament was being stripped of its sovereignty by a succession of treaties we heard not one squeak of protest about our constitutional rights from those who now make so much noise.   It is only when we try to take back the power to govern ourselves that the protests spring up.  Our politicians are rotten to the core!
So we find ourselves more than 3 years later – on our 3rd Prime Minister, 3rd “EU deal” and 3rd General Election.
As with the 2017 General Election, we are being told this is a Brexit General Election and yet – Brexit is NOT ON THE BALLOT PAPER – it has been removed by stealth, with political lies and spin.
The two main “Brexit Players” Nigel Farage and Boris Johnson have effectively “Stolen Brexit from us”.
Going into this election Nigel stated:-
 
“My three priorities will be:  
 
1.  To expose how Leave voters have been utterly betrayed by Corbyn’s Labour, the party of a second referendum;  
 
2. To tell the unflattering truth about Boris Johnson’s Brexit deal; and 
 
3. To give people a genuine democratic choice”.
Yet Pledge 3 has already been compromised –  317 constituencies having had their genuine democratic choice removed when Nigel took the unilateral decision to stand down Brexit Party Candidates in so many constituencies.
Pledge 2 – will Nigel keep to his word and send a leaflet to every household revealing the hidden horrors within Boris’s EU Treaty?  – we shall see.
Boris’s election slogan is “Let’s get Brexit done” 
Boris has just told the media “All 635 Conservative candidates standing at this election – every single one of them – has pledged that if elected they will vote in parliament to pass my Brexit deal so we can end the uncertainty and finally leave the EU.
EXCEPT THAT HIS “DEAL” IS NOT BREXIT!
Polling now shows the Tories surging ahead with almost 40% of the vote.
Voting Conservative is voting for BREXIT IN NAME ONLY handing Boris and his elected Government a legitimate mandate to pass his EU Treaty through Parliament.
The establishment and their EU masters have played a calculated and highly strategic game of chess with the British people – have they achieved checkmate?
