Metropolitan Police rushed to the scene following a shooting in London that has left a man fighting for his life in hospital.
Officers were called to reports of a shooting at Central Road at the junction with Abbotsbury Road, Morden at 2.03pm on Tuesday.
When they arrived, they found a man at the scene with gunshot injuries, he was taken to hospital and is in a “serious condition”.
Police have informed the man’s next of kin about the incident.
The Met said two people have been arrested in connection with the shooting.
A crime scene also remains in place.
