A huge thank you to The Truth Reporter for submitting this opinion piece.
Sedation or sedition – time to choose.
If there has ever been a time when the news you consume is going to make a difference to your life outcomes it is this precise moment. What we are living through at the moment is the greatest divergence between objective reality and mainstream news coverage I have ever encountered. This report is designed to explain the why and the how of this phenomenon and why it matters for you- right now – today.
The way that the COVID19 crisis is being reported in the mainstream news is nothing short of a psyop – a military term for psychological operation, an operation designed to change or confuse the thinking of the enemy in order to gain a tactical advantage. I think this term is being used entirely appropriately, I intend to explain why.
Everything about this situation has been mismanaged. From the outset, it is almost as if the response was designed to fail.
Initial reports leaking out of Wuhan and analysis in independent media suggested a leak of an engineered bioweapon, the response in the mainstream press was bat soup memes and rhetoric worthy of the schoolyard about how Chinese people were disgusting because of what they eat. The MSM never bothered to introspect that many of the dishes we regard as normal fare in this country probably sound disgusting to Chinese people. The first wave of coverage relied on facile national stereotypes and ignored or perhaps deliberately obfuscated the fact that people were being welded into their apartment blocks, forcibly removed from their homes or spontaneously dropping to the floor.
Any attempt to cite the sizeable chain of published scientific journal entries that show that work on collecting, studying and modifying Coronaviruses was taking place in several level4 biosecure laboratories was again ignored or deliberately suppressed. The finance and geopolitics blog Zerohedge was banned from Twitter when it shared its analysis of the origin and development of novel coronavirus strains especially in the biosecure lab 400 yards from the wet market that was the supposed origin of the virus.
Throughout this early phase, the World Health Organisation (WHO) heaped praise on the Chinese response to the spread of the virus. We now know China’s strategy to deal with the contagion was to suppress discussion of the origin or nature of the virus and detain or silence the doctors who spoke out. The second phase was to falsify or simply invent morbidity statistics and then via their curious toxic co-dependency with the WHO, broadcast how effective their lockdown strategy had been, all the while allowing international travel to continue as if there was nothing wrong.
There is now a great deal of discussion and analysis of the WHO’s questionable handling of the virus outbreak and this morning I woke to the news that President Trump has cancelled funding from the USA to the WHO accusing them of mismanagement and incompetence. Sadly I fear that the situation is much worse than that – I believe the WHO knowingly misrepresented the risk, what I can’t be sure of is why, and for whom would they commit such an atrocity?

The outbreak in the UK was initially met with typical British moderation and resolve but was then quickly spun into the direst national emergency since World War 2. The facts are simple but were never really explained by the press. The virus is novel and therefore no one has any immunity to it. Those with poor immune systems or other health complications are at increased risk if they catch it because their systems are already compromised. The central and unreported issue is that any seasonal flu is similarly deadly for such groups.
If this was properly understood by planners then possibly there could have been a more logical local response. If the government and public health bodies had proper, robust contingencies in place they could have arranged to isolate the ‘at risk’ population and let the virus work its way through the healthy population. This would have let immunity develop naturally but the response was sluggish at best and seemed reactive rather than proactive and in a pandemic situation reaction simply leads to sub-optimal solutions. Preparedness is the only game in town for a pandemic.
I think certain people have played the press like a proverbial fiddle, when the ‘herd immunity’ strategy first aired in the press the reaction was extreme and predictable, terms like ‘lambs to the slaughter’ were thrown at the government, within hours the rhetoric reached fever pitch and the government collapsed into the fallback option of the lockdown.
Maybe the reality is that there was no real willingness to develop a proper pandemic virus contingency plan. The measures that would have been required would have been expensive in terms of the equipment stockpiles and staff skill sets that would have to be maintained. That argument can safely be deferred for another day – the pressing analysis is what we as a people do now about the horrendous blind alley that society has been driven into.
One certainty emerging from this crisis is that a sector of the public exists that have been captured by the mainstream media to such an extent that they are now so malleable they are unable or unwilling to question anything they are told by it. Evidence of this is available on social media outlets which act as a useful feedback mechanism to test the effectiveness of the mainstream narrative.
The incessant self-policing visible on social media combined with smartphone technology has created an informal police state where citizens report each other for any perceived infraction of the new rules. The police have morphed overnight into despotic bullies who interpret their new powers to suit themselves and operate with impunity.
Serious questions have to be answered by the police as to what extent they were always this keen to exert such coercive powers and were just waiting for the opportunity to attain them. From their actions evidenced on social media reports it seems they have failed to treat this situation as a health emergency but instead an opportunity to issue fines to those who cannot come up with adequate accounts for being outside their homes. Cambridgeshire police were not willing to accept NHS ID as enough evidence of people going to work at one point. What level of lunacy will we be asked to endure next?
Huge but hidden forces have been quietly building up in recent years as the economic and social capital in this nation has been slowly eroded from beneath our feet. Like a giant societal mousetrap the spring has been bent back and COVID19 – whether from natural or manmade sources was simply the action that sprang the mechanism into action.
The issue I must now consider is whether those in government really understood the implications of the lockdown measures before they introduced them. The whole situation was one of panic and extreme pressure, the mainstream media had brought the clamour for extreme measures to a crescendo and policy was being made on the fly which almost never means positive results.
Lockdown is destroying jobs, ending careers and doing incalculable economic damage to the nation but the most horrifying aspect is that this damage could be intentional, not by the government itself – they are not thinking 101 steps ahead of the game. The deep state however does think 101 steps ahead and their purposes are very well served by the current situation.
Already there is clamour for more and more bailouts, more money creation, more government loans more schemes and support. All very well but what guarantees will be required, what will people sign up for to save their business?

There is massive potential for hard assets to be absorbed on an unheard of scale, homes, businesses, property, all potentially being offered as collateral to obtain these grants. The problem is that COVID19 is a problem still without an ending in sight. Government has not yet guaranteed when lockdown will end and could re-impose the restrictions at will if the situation became bad again.
So how does any business proceed? We have seen plausible evidence from multiple sources that the crisis was either engineered or allowed to fester so that the effects could be shaped and then utilised to lever powerful others to take extreme actions that they would normally never consider. In those circumstances who are we to trust?
I would be very hesitant to jump to accept the solutions being offered by the very people who seem to have been instrumental in nurturing the problem. The extent to which the WHO shaped events to suit China’s narrative and campaigned against international travel restrictions does not fill me with confidence that their close friends Bill and Melinda Gates can be trusted that their global vaccination and identification programme is without malign intent.
From the globalists’ perspective COVID19 is like a universal key that opens doors to policy decisions they could never have even dreamt of before. End of civil liberties, mass vaccination, forfeiture of assets to the banking nexus, universal surveillance – all have been welcomed by an unthinking, uncritical public who have been so indoctrinated by mantras of fear and self doubt and so disabled by the technology they worship to notice they are walking into a deadly trap.
I would ask you to return to my first sentence, the news you consume now will shape your future, what you believe will guide how you react to what is coming and what is coming is an assault on your freedom, your wealth and your independence. Choose your news wisely.
