As the PM and his Fiancee celebrate the birth of a baby boy some people just couldn’t help themselves from their usual reactions to what should be wonderful news.
Social media has been awash with absolutely shocking comments as you can see with the selection of vitriol below to which many have replied with disgust:

Outlandish theories are also doing the rounds as you can see below with one individual bearing the slogan ‘FBPE’ and the EU Flag:

Again more terrible comments below with one accusing Carrie and Boris of being ‘racists’:

What has been more shocking is the message put out by the MP for Brentford and Isleworth, Ruth Cadbury. Cadbury is a well known Remainer and this is what she had to say in an article appealing to non-Labour voters to back them over their anti-Brexit message in the EU elections last year:
As a Labour MP, I am keenly aware that many party members and supporters feel disappointed and frustrated by our policy on the EU. I also know that some are considering using the European parliamentary elections to protest and vote for one of the minor parties.
As a long-standing Remainer, I share their concern about Labour’s stance on Brexit – but it is absolutely critical that Labour supporters don’t use the Euro elections as a protest vote. Doing so only helps Nigel Farage, could lose us some excellent Labour MEPs, almost certainly won’t elect more MEPs from the minor ‘Remain’ parties, and the election result will have no status in changing Labour’s approach.
Many have said that this approach by the Labour Party then and in the General Election resulted in them losing many of their Northern heartland seats that overwhelmingly voted to leave the EU.
Amongst the MSM there has been a concerted effort over the last few days to say that Boris would be skipping PMQ’s as he was ‘scared’ of doing so. Just look at what Cadbury had to say below about the birth of the PM’s son and the anger this generated among everyday British people:
