A manhunt has been launched in London after a teenager was run-over by a vehicle and stabbed before being left for dead in the Northwest area of the capital. The victim of the attack is understood to be in his late teens and is fighting for his life in an unknown London hospital following the attack in Weald Lane in Harrow, the northwest of London.
The incident occurred at around 9pm on Monday evening and the Metropolitan Police have now launched an investigation, a manhunt, and are also searching for the vehicle that is thought to be involved in the attack.
The area of Weald Lane in Harrow, where the incident took place has reportedly been cordoned off and police are appealing for witnesses. On the Harrow MPS Twitter page, a statement was released that said: “A crime scene is in place in Weald Lane, Harrow. Officers believe a man, age late teens, had been struck by a vehicle and stabbed at around 9pm. He’s in a critical condition in hospital. Vehicle outstanding, no arrest yet. Witnesses please call 101 ref 7898/01jun”.
One Twitter user described the scenes being played out in Harrow this morning which appeared to portray a frenetic scene in the local area. The user @YALMOUL said: “I’m hearing the sirens now outside. Good luck finding perpetrators”.
