Police in Ealing were called to a huge fight involving 40 males with swords and bottles in West London.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police responded to the emergency on Sunday morning (January 17) when the violent fighting out in Southall.
Two men were arrested for violent disorder and affray.
In a post on Twitter Ealing police wrote: “Team 2 responded to a large fight this morning in @Southall involving up to 40 males fighting with swords and bottles. 2 males were chased into St Johns Road and identified as having carried swords during the fight. They were arrested for Violent Disorder and Affray.”
Some members of the public responded to the Tweet by police with one commenting: “Up to 40 and you got 2.”
Another person wrote: “I am so glad I left London, it is eating itself. London has fallen. She was a great city.”
And another commented: “And they’ll both get community service.”
