By The Truth Reporter:
If ever you wanted a barometer to judge the mood of the middle classes it is Classic FM, sitting unassumingly on the VHF dial it serves up a continuous diet of middle of the road classics, never becoming heavyweight like BBC Radio3 – just a range of middle aged DJs who you used to see on TV chirping their platitudes and reading out messages from Jim in Cirencester who loves Vivaldi.
Despite my somewhat mocking tone, I was a regular listener – the 40 year old transistor radio in my shed is tuned to it now, and while I am in there soldering wires together or mending power tools it provided an ideal and convenient mix of time checks, unchallenging music and the occasional news headline.
There was nothing unusual about the content – adverts about investments or pensions or river cruises for the over 50’s, typical fare for the target audience of middle aged, middle class people, all probably in their own sheds or kitchens up and down the country happily enjoying their retirement and comfortably going about their lives.
Coming back to Classic FM now the winter is over and the shed is above freezing I find it changed – for the worse. The music is unchanged but everything else has been tainted with the poisonous elixir of fear. Covid19 has rendered this station virtually unlistenable.
Gone are the adverts for Saga bus tours of the Rhine valley – these have been replaced with the constant blare of Covid this and covid that and adverts for mail order hand gel. Also changed is the tone of the announcers who seem to have collectively metamorphosed into ciphers of government doublespeak.
The constant injection of the mantras ‘staying safe’ ‘social distancing’ ‘getting the vaccine’ are woven into the fabric of the conversation like they were designed to be there from the very outset. I submit that this is some of the best evidence we have for the widespread indoctrination of fear and paranoia in society that has been highlighted by alternative news who understand the functions of the Behavioural Insights Team and their counterparts now installed in all areas of the government machine.
‘Don’t get too close – let’s take this next step safely’ – is the latest buzz phrase coming out of the speaker – literally as I write this. They explain that 1 in 3 people are asymptomatic carriers of the virus…. No mention of the Chinese study that conclusively refutes this idea.
Anyone who sees the mass neurosis of the rump of the population and wonders how it got this bad can now begin to see how we descended into this dystopia. The people have been gradually mesmerised by continual messaging from the media they ingest on a daily basis, accepting fake, skewed or disproven ideas as fact because it’s read out by Alexander Armstrong or Moira Stewart.
What makes this cornucopia of babbling propaganda worse is that it is everywhere. My friend for whom I sometimes mend tools has a similar shed to mine where he makes things from wood – he is a skilled man, he listens to ‘Gold’ which is a pop music station for middle aged people who remember flares and Rubik cubes. Guess what – the propaganda is there too, it has been rebranded for the precise demographic. They use a prototypic bloke called Phil – he’s an ordinary geezer who drives a delivery van, salt of the earth. He’s getting tested, he’s getting the vaccine because he wants everyone to be ‘safe’… yay!
If you want concrete proof that the government was the biggest purchaser of advertising recently then here it is. It’s being fed into all the commercial stations because they will take the money and shut up. Advertising revenue from P&O cruises won’t be coming back anytime soon, shops that have spent the last 4 months closed won’t have huge budgets for the latest campaign.
The assault on the middle class is massive, pervasive and obsequious. They are being coerced into getting vaccines that are unproven and have high rates of adverse reactions. They are being fed a diet of fear and paranoia backup up by dubious statistics and failed modelling. Meanwhile they are being encouraged to ‘avoid the cost of an expensive and ostentatious funeral’ and get a direct cremation where you are fed into a furnace and your relatives get a bag of ash in the post.
I am afraid that these people do not realise they are being fed into the mincer, they have been given the wrong information, the decisions and thinking that evoke from that information are therefore also wrong. They have been coerced into complying with a harmful and counterproductive lockdown strategy, they have been convinced that black is white and chalk is cheese and despite the gnawing realisation that this can’t really be so, the tirades coming from every speaker and TV screen just keep pouring on the pressure to conform with this toxic consensus.
Sadly this part of society has fallen, people who are against lockdowns, vaccine passports and other lunacy need to understand that there is a massive dead weight of people whose opinions have been hammered into this malformed shape by brute force. I do not think they can be ‘woken up’ because despite attempts to inform them and explain the inherent contradictions in the evidence served up by the MSM using simple processes of logical and intuitive thinking, they are continuously re infected with the gibberish coming out of their devices.
Still – don’t take my word for this.. put Classic FM on for an hour or two and see what you think…
Sometimes you have to accept something is broken and throw it away, like that favourite pair of shoes that are so comfortable but now they have holes in them and your toes are poking out – you could try and mend them but they will never be the same again. Sadly this is where we are with our current society, the government has broken it, probably intentionally.
Don’t sit and lament for what is gone, because you will spend your life and your resources trying to fix something that is beyond repair. Find something new and never forget the people who took what you had from you by stealth and deception.
