Dear {{recipient.first_name_or_friend}},
Hope all is well with you in these very febrile times. I did voice my concerns that Starmer would turn into Keir Stalin and he more than certainly has. As ever just to much to talk about here in an email so please join me LIVE tonight at 19:00 on https://rumble.com/v59fej1-keir-stalin-comes-out-hiding-behind-the-authorities.html
Now at UNN we talk about a number of very sensitive things but we always do our best to ensure we are accurate. We did not name the perpetrator of the Southall attack and we merely reported on events on the ground. But we have now had our second hit job on us by the Guardian this week and they are clearly monitoring us to try and find weak spots to take us down. Below is an email received from their ‘senior reporter’ Ben Quinn:
Dear Mr Clews,
I hope this finds you well.
I’m a reporter at the Guardian newspaper, where we have been preparing to report on the manner in which activists and groups have been spreading misinformation in relation to the Southport attack and, in some cases, seeking to exploit protests and vigils.
One aspect of our research concerned the use of social media platforms by some of those same activists.
Can I please ask if you wish to say anything about content on the Unity News Network’s Telegram Channel?
I’m attaching images of comments that appear to range from calls for the killing of the prime minister ( “Starmer needs the Mussalini [sic] treatment.”) through to openly antisemitic statements and incitement to destroy property (“I hope they burn it to the ground)
Do you endorse these views? If not, what steps have you taken to ensure that they are not disseminated on your channel?
Yours faithfully
Ben Quinn
I then responded with the below:
“Clearly at UNN we condemn all calls to violence.
A video by David Clews and numerous posts clearly state that anyone doing that will see their comments removed and they will be banned permanently.
Alas these individuals are responsible for these comments on Telegram and not us.
These comments are by agitators most likely working on behalf of the state.
Maybe you should do some investigating into those.”
The Guardian then published the below before I had a chance to respond in their article:
On the channel that UNN operates on Telegram – a largely unmoderated messaging platform – commentators rejoiced in violence seen outside Downing Street on Wednesday. “I hope they burn it to the ground,” said one. Another called for the hanging of Keir Starmer, the prime minister, saying: “Starmer needs the Mussalini [sic] treatment.”
Now why are we involved in these attacks? Because since 2020 we have been calling out the power structure and especially what they have done in Ukraine and the Middle East. Now we may not be perfect but we have broken now laws yet they are going to say we are a ‘danger to democracy’. What people don’t realise is that The Guardian, like the BBC, is basically the print version of the security services. They are basically telegraphing who they want to go after.
Eventually this will come for everyone when they just stop you from speaking entirely.
Alas I will not be going anywhere and continue to fight for what is right.
Just look at the image and rhetoric they used about someone who killed 3 schoolgirls in cold blood. All the mockingbird media publishing these stories in lockstep.
This government absolutely DESPISES us!
The above tweet is brutal but it is true. The utter betrayal and lies of the entire ruling class must be exposed and fundamentally they all must be replaced by genuine people who actually care about this country!
Kind Regards,
David Clews
Opinions from the Unity News Network (UNN) editorial team & various contributors. | UNN always clearly distinguishes between news and opinion pieces and as an open minded outlet we publish views from a variety of people and organisation that do not necessarily reflect the views of UNN or its writers. Articles published under UNN Opinions are always opinion pieces and if published on behalf of a contributor will contain that authors name at the start of the piece.
