Tobias Ellwood wants you, your children and grandchildren to go to WAR!

Firstly can I just say a big thank you to everyone that has responded with their very kind messages of support due to my family issues. There are so many of you to reply to so if I am unable to please accept my apologies but thank you! She got out of hospital last Saturday but sadly was taken in again yesterday as her blood pressure remains stubbornly high but thankfully the readings this morning were much better! Quite a few people asked if her high blood pressure was due to being married to me which brought a smile!

Alas the battle goes on and if you recall I said at the end of 2023 that 2024 was going to be the year of war and the pace is accelerating even faster than even I imagined. You have had The Chief of The General Staff and other NeoCon warmongers such as Tobias Ellwood floating the idea of CONSCRIPTION in order to fight a war against either Russia, China, Iran, North Korea or ALL OF THEM!

Do you know how insane this is? What has Putin ever done to us? Did he make us wear masks or take experimental MRNA shots? Does he jail our political activists, oversee the destruction of family values, mass immigration of nearly 1 million people a year? Does Iran have bases near us and subverts us? No of course they don’t. The only promising thing is the size of pushback against it. How would do the fighting exactly? Hardly anyone under 40 knows how to fire a gun and the government has been telling them they can change their gender!

Meanwhile I have to draw your attention to the case of Sam Melia. Sam is a husband and father of one with another on the way. He is expected to face jail time. His crime? Posting stickers such as ‘Brits to be Minority by 2066’. Now what is even more incredible about this case is that the prosecutor even said that Sam’s politics and what he was discussing were not unlawful but the jury had to decide whether he intended to ‘stir up racial hatred’.

The Jury, of course who would be terrified of being accused of enabling racism which is the worst crime in the world according to the regime, then went and found him guilty! Once the state comes after you they can manufacture a case against you and then get you sent to jail. What is most disappointing about Sam’s case is all the usual ‘Free Speech Warriors’ have not only not supported him but that they haven’t even commented!

Take the ‘Free Speech Union’ for example an organisation set up with much media fanfare and support for their ‘essential work’ yet they will NEVER get their hands dirty or comment on TRUE free speech cases when it really matters. Things like this REALLY make my blood pressure rocket as well! It is all fine and well supporting people who maybe get kicked off a board for using the wrong pronouns but when it really matters like in the case of Sam they are completely silent. Now some of you may not like UNN, our positions or even me for that matter but we do what we say which is provide news, analysis and campaigns. How can you claim to be in favour of Free Speech then not even comment or support people being attacked by a tyrannical state?!

Now it is mostly happening to people on the right but also on the left as well (I hate using these labels) and we have recently given our full support to Tony Greenstein and Craig Murray who have been at the end of ridiculous accusations and charges by ‘Counter-Terror’ Police over their stance on the Israel/Gaza conflict.

There are so many other things to talk about but in my opinion we have to be opposed to these wars and keep our freedoms and liberties. Without that we can’t make the change that is required.
