Yesterday we published the story about the Brexit Direct Action group who have emerged as looking to co-ordinate a series of mass demonstrations across the UK if the Brexit vote is betrayed.
Since we published the story it has been shared across social media over 75,000 times and has now been picked up by the mainstream media with it being the number 1 story on The Daily Express Website.
The overwhelming opinion of people on social media is that they support this and there has been further suggestions that all the roads in and out of London should be blocked as well.
However not everyone was supportive of this with some arguing that it could be counter-productive as it could damage the economy and frustrate drivers going about their business. The overwhelming consensus was, however, that it was a price worth paying due to what is going on over Brexit.
Taxi drivers currently bring Westminster to a standstill every Monday, Wednesday and Friday outside of Westminster and this has been a highly effective way of bringing attention to the myriad of issues that they face.
