The USA:-

1933-1972 

The Tuskegee Study of Untreated Syphilis in the Negro Male Experiment.
600 Black males were tested 399 were found to have Syphilis  201 were negative for it.  They were told they’d get free treatment  but were only given placebos, “to see what the Long Term outcome” was.
The story broke in July 1972, prompting public outrage and forcing the study to finally be shut down. by that time, 28 participants had perished from syphilis, 100 more had passed away from related complications, at least 40 spouses had been diagnosed with it and the disease had been passed to 19 children at birth

1944   

The Radiation Experiment
30 random people across the USA were injected with radioactive particles,
18 with Plutonium, 6 with Uranium 5 with polonium and 1 with Americium just to see what would happen.

1950 

A Bio weapon released over San Francisco,
Just to see what would happen, no available data as to what it was or what the effects on the population were.

Please do not assume it was just the USA

The UK :-

1950’s – 1960’s
  More than 20,000 British servicemen – many of them on their National Service, few of them volunteering for the tests, and most in their early twenties, some still boy soldiers in their teens – were required to ‘participate’ in the United Kingdom nuclear tests in Australia and Christmas Island.
Data that is still available for 2,500 men (2,200 UK, 238 New Zealand and 62 Fijian) states Thirty per cent of the men died mostly in their fifties,Two-thirds of them died from cancers.

Porton Down

  for 15 years after the WWII, Porton Down used 2,644 men in Nerve Gas Experiments

1951-1953 Squaddies experimented on with Sarin Nerve Gas 
  One man is known to have died, Mr Maddison was one of 396 men in a particularly large experiment in which Porton Down scientists sought to estimate how much nerve gas it would take to kill a man through layers of clothing or on the bare skin.
On 6 May 1953, 200 milligrams of liquid Sarin were poured onto a double layer of uniform clothing that was tied on the arm of Leading Aircraftsman Ronald Maddison, a British Royal Air Force engineer. Within half an hour the twenty-year-old Maddison lost consciousness. He died later that day.

1966-1989

  A further 545 human “guinea pigs” were subjected to Nerve Gas Experiments at Porton Down

26th July 1963 – The London Underground ANTHRAX Experiment
  A woman’s Compact containing ANTHRAX SPORES was released on the London Undergrounds Northern line between Colliers Wood and Tooting Broadway Stations it was timed at spreading to Camden town approximately 11 miles away 15 minutes later.
It is unknown how far or where else it spread through the Underground system. It is unknown if anybody was affected (Anthrax has a 90% mortality rate if inhaled)
It Is also extremely long lived, In a WWII experiment in 1943 on the small island of Gruinard off the coast of Scotland the army released Anthrax Spores to tests its efficacy as a bio weapon. 

“The report of the Gruinard experiment indicated that biological weapons are highly effective and can paralyse or render whole cities inhospitable,”
The Island was still highly toxic 40 years later so much so that a method of sterilising the topsoil was devised and in 1986  the land was washed with formaldehyde and sea water.

After the decontamination, sheep were ferried daily from the mainland to graze on the island for a year to ensure it was now safe.

In 1990, the government sought to bring Gruinard’s dark chapter to a close by sending junior defence minister Michael Neubert to pose for cameras removing the warning signs from the shore.

THE LONDON UNDERGROUND WAS NEVER DECONTAMINATED
