Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24nd 2022, there was non-stop media mentioning of this conflict.
It has been very one sided, promoting solely the perspective of the President Zelensky government, and presenting what Russia’s President Putin calls a “special military operation,” as an evil unjustified act of aggression.
This pro-Zelensky, anti-Putin propaganda, has been so overwhelming that it has dominated UK news daily.
It reached ridiculous heights of absurdity with its claims of the evil deeds the Russians are claimed to have carried out, whereas if Zelensky’s forces have done anything terrible, it has been downplayed and not even believed or investigated.
The public have been taken in and played like a musical instrument!
Total failure of Ukraine counter offensive, at huge cost
Over the past few months great play has been made of the counter offensive which Zelensky’s forces have been engaged in, which has had no success at all.
Its failure has been excused by numerous reasons, the weather, not enough weaponry from Nato countries, and much more.
It has even been alleged it has started to succeed, it had not started at all or there had just been some mini-probing offenses.
However, the defence lines of Russian forces have never been seriously breached, and now the Russians are advancing significantly in key areas.
Zelensky has often ignored military advice and ordered continued unnecessary assaults on impregnable positions, which have resulted in huge casualties.
Purpose of counter offences was to raise money and not strategic.
These military “counter offences” were heavily promoted to key NATO countries to motivate more military and financial aid to the Ukraine government.
Ukraine is one of the most corrupt countries in the world, yet there is little accountability as to where the money goes to.
This promotion of Ukraine “succeeding” is still going on in different respects and even defeats are turned into fake victories by their PR machines, which have a huge amount of support from NATO countries.
However, it is now becoming more and more difficult to put across the view that Ukraine is winning and will win this conflict.
Even the most blatant propaganda cannot lie its way into making this believable.
In fact, it was obvious from day one of the conflict that Ukraine never had any serious chance of winning.
This is why they themselves were ready to sign a peace agreement with Russia back in April 2022.
This is the peace which was scuppered by former Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s rushed visit to Ukraine when the Zelensky government was persuaded by offers of billions of arms and aid to continue with their fight.
It is interesting to speculate as to on whose behalf Boris Johnson made this intervention. It certainly was not with any approval of the British people, or the Parliament, and very unlikely to have been the Cabinet before he went either. Who asked him to do this? The USA government? Globalist vested interests? The public are entitled to know.
If the results of all these billions on weaponry and aid by the UK and the USA, but other countries such as NATO ones as well, have failed, then the public are entitled to some accountability for this gross wastage of their money.
It is not sufficient for the Prime Minister to be replaced, as he left for other reasons related to conduct in office.
It is not only this misuse of their money that the public have had to contend with, but also the huge rise in the cost of living and energy which they have had to as well .
The reality is that the sanctions against Russia have backfired and harmed the UK and others many times more.
It is increasingly looking like all these sacrifices imposed on the public have been for one purpose only, to try and weaken Russia in a protracted war.
It is becoming more apparent that the powers that be could not care less about the welfare of the Ukrainian people either. The government is guilty of gross dishonesty to the public, something the Prime Minister Rishi Sunak promised would not do under his tenure.
Israel and Gaza have taken the place of Ukraine in the media’s prominence
It is no wonder that mention of Ukraine is reducing, and the mainstream media is instead focussing its attentions elsewhere.
The conflict in Israel and Gaza has been a convenient distraction for them.
Suddenly, like a tap being turned off, the news about Ukraine is no longer dominant, and has been replaced by news about Israel and Gaza.
A new tap has been turned on and it is as if the mainstream media can switch on and off what people think about both the “old” issue and the “new” one.
This new conflict has already expanded into a major humanitarian crisis and involves Palestine generally and Lebanon.
It has worsened in that Hezbollah have become involved and has had its bases in Syria bombed not just by Israel but by the USA as well.
It seems that Israel and the USA can bomb who they like when they like, but that other countries in the world must exercise restraint.
It is looking like this conflict is an excuse to try to reduce the power of Iran and the increase the size of the state of Israel, whether Israeli citizens want this and prefer peace or not.
In the same way that power of Saddam Hussen’s Iraq, which was seen as a threat to Israel, was reduced by the Gulf War.
Clearly this “war zone” is of more importance to globalist vested interests than Ukraine, which is now looking as though it was a strategic distraction, to ensure Russia focussed its attentions on the home front rather than the Middle East.
It is worth bearing in mind that Hamas has nothing to do with Palestine generally, or Lebanon, Syria or Hezbollah.
Old mainstream media believe they can mass manipulate the majority into supporting anything they want
It beggars’ belief the amount of propaganda the mainstream media think they can get away with, but they continue to believe they will because they do!
Over the coming months it will come to light that the Ukrainian casualties have been over 1.1 million dead, injured, missing, and surrendered, and that their fight has been in vain. This will be buried amongst minor news items as if it were of no consequence. It will be said that Zelensky’s regime lost the war because they did not have enough “western” support, but they could not have had more without totally financially breaking countries like the UK.
Betrayal of Afghanistan was manipulated by media
It will be like Afghanistan, for some years media focus on the benefits of our involvement, especially for issues like women’s rights, but then the tap was switched off, and the country now barely makes the news at all.
No comments about the utter betrayal of the Afghan people by Trump’s “deal” with the Taliban, endorsed by Biden, and which, to our shame, the UK government went along with.
Now all we hear about Afghanistan is how many thousands more refugees the UK is taking.
So, to put it bluntly, the war in Ukraine has been lost.
Acknowledging this fact will take time but if the media tactic on other issues is anything to go by, mention of it will just whither away and they hope it will die in the minds of the public. The powers that be are not going to go out of their way to admit that yet again they made an horrendous policy blunder.
The lesson on all of this is:
“Question everything!”
Even if it seems to support your own point of view!
Some people are taken in. Do your best to not be.
Be on your guard against mind manipulation!
On this subject, it is worth checking in respect of Israel and Gaza the following:
How did Hamas manage to take control over Gaza from the PLO?
Who did they get help and funding from?
Do you know that Hamas is a Muslim Brotherhood organisation?
The people of Gaza are not necessarily Hamas supporters.
What is the history of the ending of the British Mandate of Palestine in 1948?
What happened in 1967
Did you know the PLO is a secular, not religious organisation.
Do you know the difference between Hamas and Hezbollah?
What sort of political party is Lukid and how popular is it and the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu?
Do you know that Syria is a secular, not religious government, where Christians and all religions are treated equally?
