Mr Farage has warned that the EU is trying to bring the United Kingdom into a crisis and has warned “there is nothing we can do” in order to make them stop except walking away!
He said speaking on his LBC show:
It doesn’t matter how many concessions we make, it doesn’t matter.
It doesn’t matter that her own party, half of them seem to be saying she has betrayed Brexit with the Chequers agreement. It still won’t be accepted by Mr Juncker so there is nothing we can do, it will not be accepted by Barnier, Juncker and the Brussels crowd.
They want to force us into a crisis. They want to force us, as we run up to the 18 October deadline to achieve a deal on the terms of which we leave, they want to force us into a crisis. They want to force us to delay Article 50 or failing that have another referendum.”
Mr Farage also praised US President Donald J. Trump for achieving “more in one day of trade negotiations than Theresa May has in two years.”

Mr Farage said: “Why has this happened? It’s because Donald Trump has issued a threat and the European Union took it seriously. I would say that Donald Trump has achieved more in one day of trade negotiations than Theresa May has in two years.
Why? Because the only thing the European commission respects are people who are tough. They don’t respect people who constantly appease them.”
Mr Farage also said:
“You only get your way with Brussels if you are tough and threaten something. I remember the French in the 90’s saying ‘right, we are going to veto EU enlargement unless you write into the treaties that the European Parliament will meet at Strasbourg 12 times every year.
Everybody else buckled and the travelling circus that is the European Parliament goes to Strasbourg 12 times a year. Much to the economic benefit of the city of Strasbourg. If you have political will and believe in what you are doing then it is very straightforward, but we have a Remainer Prime Minister who doesn’t believe in what she is doing and has no experience of the business world whatsoever.
The arch-Brexiteer was shocked when a caller said he felt Theresa May had been doing a good job and the EU would continue to help the UK. He replied:
Lord Malloch-Brown who is a close associate of George Soros and very much involved with the Peoples Vote campaign, when he an arch-europhile praises the Chequers agreement I find it remarkable. When have the EU ever helped us? What I have a problem with is a Prime Minister who gets elected on a manifesto and then does the opposite.”
