In an article in the Daily Mirror today entitled: ‘UK’s Far-Right Faces of Hate’ MP Anna Soubry has launched a withering attack on the UK Yellow Vest movement. This comes as activist James Goddard was arrested and hit with stringent bail conditions after an incident involving Soubry.
According to The Mirror:
Ms Soubry, meanwhile, branded the yellow vest movement’s leaders “racist, fascist and a threat to democracy”.
She said: “Every now and then far-right groups crawl out from whatever rock they’ve been hiding under and latch on to an issue to try and spread their views. These people are no different.”
Meanwhile in Trafalgar Square yesterday UK Yellow Vests encountered ANTIFA/ Stand up to Racism where they were greeted by the chants of ‘Nazi Scum Off Our Streets’. One user on Twitter enquired to the Metropolitan Police if their will be mass arrests of these individuals in light of the arrest of James Goddard as a precedent.
