In a dramatic speech in Grimsby the embattled Prime Minister has stated that if her deal does not get through Parliament there is a significant risk that Brexit won’t happen at all. She highlighted that with the Labour Party now backing a second referendum this is an increasingly likely option.
It is felt that May is laying down the gauntlet to her Brexit supporting MP’s who are so far remaining firm as they believe that Theresa May’s deal is not even Brexit at all.

MPs will hold a second “meaningful vote” on Tuesday on Mrs May’s agreement. No 10 said the vote would go ahead, irrespective of whether the prime minister secured the changes MPs are demanding before then.
During her speech May said MPs faced a crucial choice next week and her deal respected the 2016 referendum result and would ensure the UK’s long-term prosperity.
Back it and the UK will leave the EU. Reject it and no-one knows what will happen. We may not leave the EU for many months. We may leave without the protections a deal provides, we may never leave at all. The British people have already moved on, they are ready for this to be settled.”
