DRAMATIC scenes in London as Yellow Vests STORM Police Station!

This weekend saw continued Yellow Vest protests across the world. Within the UK there was a largely peaceful march in Leeds along with other smaller, sporadic demonstrations. The largest was once again in London where hundreds of demonstrators gathered to protest against a myriad of problems that exist in the UK.

Earlier in the day the demonstrators gathered outside Scotland Yard to demonstrate and as you can see below on our YouTube Channel scuffles started to break out:

According to one on the ground eyewitness:

The Police totally came in heavy handed, as usual the protest was peaceful and good natured but we felt the Police tried to provoke things. Usually we are surrounded by Blue Vest Met Police Liaison officers who are much better at policing demos but there was none of them there today which we all thought was strange.

The reason the scuffles started was that the Police came in heavy handed and took out one of our fellow protestors that we thought was totally unnecessary so some pushing then ensued.

Later on in the day demonstrators then went to Charing Cross Police Station where the suspect was being detained and in unbelievable scenes they stormed the reception and a smoke grenade was let off.

It is not know what has happened to the protestor and the Police quickly sealed the building and removed the remaining Yellow Vest supporters.

Further Yellow Vests protests are planned with many on social media commenting that if Article 50 is delayed or there are attempts to keep the UK within certain aspects of the EU they too will be donning their Yellow Vests and taking to the streets.
